The World 11 could refer to world 1-1. The line could be missing because some systems like reddit do not allow those in urls between numbers. Today's the 2nd anniversary of Gun Mettle. Time flies quick. I wish I could go back 2 years ago because I started TF2 back in January 2015 so Gun Mettle was the first big update I experienced. Seeing all of those weapon changes and new taunts for the first time got me excited, especially as someone still relatively new to TF2. I hope the Pyro update can help bring back that spark from 2015.

To me Gun Mettle was one of the best TF2 updates in years and honesty I was starting to wonder if TF2 was dying (at least gameplay wise) because the past few years had few maps, questionable rebalances and as many cosmetics as Valve could shove into updates and Gun Mettle felt like Valve was directly addressing my concerns with an update. The Spy v Sniper and War update were both really great as well since they were both 7+ day updates and the hype just built up more and more. I remember with the spiper v spy on one of the days people would sometimes see a decloaking spy when refrshing the page and there was so much excitement about it maybe being a spy update too. I really hope that the Pyro update is multi day too (maybe one day for each weapon with the other features/maps/etc being included on those pages) to build up hype in the same way though of course it won't be 7 days. The other really great one was the engineer update due to the whole golden wrench thing.
The biggest problem with mym pub changes is that they couldn't decide if they wanted it to be a serious, actually competitive experience or not. There's a round system where you have to win multiple rounds against the same team, playing WITH the same team, so they didn't want to force you off your team with auto balance. They could have balanced in between rounds, but then you still mess up that dynamic where it feels like you're always on the same team. But then valve removes stopwatch, which was great for serious play and was the only way to make it feel like there's consistency between rounds and helped keep unbalanced pubs from lasting too long. So now we have unbalanced teams for the sake of a competitive experience, and an undermined competitive experience for the sake of allowing people to fuck around in a match where they've already lost. Because Valve doesn't really know what it wants to do about casual, we get the worst of both worlds.
man the day that gun mettle came out was so hype, everyone was just thinking the game was completely dead and valve just came back and made everyone feel that update excitement that i personally at least hadn't felt for at least a year before that hopefully we can get the same with jungle!!

Because right now the winning team is the one who wins the last round, not like in Competitive where the winning team is the one who captures the fastest. The team balancing issue is more complicated. I think a simple solution for the time being would be to add back the option to scramble teams [I]after[/I] the match ends. That way, it won't drastically interfere with the teams during the game, and by the end of the match it is already determined who was the better team anyway. I think if team scramble was put back in, it would also encourage more people to stay on the same server.

Going after this Jungle would be a payload map, and these are servers specifically set-up for "World 11" - meaning either the new Jungle Map, or the new Update in general.

I think it will be out Wednesday or Thursday.
The Steam Store has a red bar that keeps getting more intense as each day goes by, it's a stretch, but maybe red = flames = Pyro?
Did Valve give mappers access to jungle props yet? If not, then this week isn't the one for sure, since the mappers will have to get a bit of time to replace the current detailing with new jungle assets.

This does mean valve is working weekeds, at least the TF team is. They're certainly trying to get this to release Tuesday or Thursday.

They were working weekends when I visited them in June 2016, which was ~2-4 weeks before the launch of MyM. It's clearly within 4 weeks of launch; they're going to be in crunch mode.
