The all-class crate would have been a good cash grab if it was temporary, but now it's the only thing mathematically worth unboxing.

For a company that employs economists and psychologists, you'd think they would realize that the lure of god-tier hats is only good if those items remain valuable enough to justify unboxing.

Nobody is going to pay the massively overpriced backpack.tf value if suddenly there are 40 more in existence, and it becomes a race to find a chump who will, or liquidate before the inevitable price crash.

Well the 2016 taunt halloween crate does give out taunt unusualifiers so all class crate isn't the only one worth of unboxing. There's also some rare weapons on the pyroland or whatever case it was as well as the other.

I feel as if the Pyro/Jungle Update is too big of a deal, and as a patch itself, to be released on the same day as the announcement.

To be fair, that still makes it too soon to call nothing's happening today.

I'd be legitimately surprised if nothing came today- Monday and Tuesday were mostly wishful thinking on my part, but if this week is the week I have no clue why they wouldn't announce today. A Thursday announce and release is still possible, but I'm personally calling it for the week if it doesn't come today.

I went and did it. It's not exact because I got the times from Reddit postings, but they're relatively punctual and I couldn't find times anywhere else.

Aside from MyM's...early morning announcement (that still confuses me), most of these seem to come late afternoon/early evening. The latest in the past three years thus far has been MyM going live, which was at 7:26 PM Mountain Time, 6:26 PM for Valve and 9:26 for East Coasters.

So I'd say we can call it for sure in 5 hours. It's most likely to be sooner than that if it does come, however.
