Is it odd that I've never had any people exceedingly annoying trade me or beg for my items?
I mean the last time anything like that happened someone was begging me for my Earbuds in the text chat, and all I had to do is say "No" twice and he shut up.
There was this one time that someone randomly traded me wanting hats and I ended up talking him in to giving me a hat or two for a few weapons.
I seriously want the Sight for Sore Eyes.
Yesterday, I randomly asked if someone was trading it, found someone who was selling it.
I asked him what he wants for it, he said a crate.
Put up trade request. No response.
Put up trade request again. "This player is already busy trading with someone"
Later, in the chat:
ninjafacedickfuck has traded for: Sight for Sore Eyes
Asshat has traded for: Mann Co. Supply Crate

I remember many times when people have tried to buy my earbuds. Also one of them wanted to scam my buds for a weapon.
Another way to get free items from people:
1) Act like you don't know prices
2) Someone tries to take advantage of one of your expensive things (max head, unusual, etc.)
3) Say it's not for sale
4) Watch them beg and lowball
5) Ask for an item that you know is not for sale from him
6) If he says he'll give it up, put it trade and cancel, if not go to step 7
7) after he begs even more say "I DON'T CARE ANYMORE AND YOUR ANNOYING ME, ALL I WANTED IS YOUR (item not for sale here) BUT NO I CAN'T EVEN GET THAT!"
8) He says he changed his mind and he'll give it to you
9) Say "NO I DON'T EVEN CARE ANYMORE AND I DON'T WANT IT, I JUST ASKED FOR A SIMPLE (item here) BUT NO YOU HAVE YOU HAVE TO BE ANNOYING AND GREEDY AND PUT ALL THIS TROUBLE INTO IT!"
10) He feels bad and gives you items for free, in hope of you giving something in return
11) You dont
12) Enjoy your free lods of eitem
