Useless.
Found a copy of the game informer magazine today, the screenshots in it are quite high res and shows that they aren't renders, they're in-game. Ep2 had dynamic shadows aswell. Real time lighting would be the big improvement.

Crysis, Far Cry 2, GTA IV, Just Cause 2,... sould I continue ?
