Monkey Island returns! - Games

I hope they make a remake of Monkey Island II as well. That was always my favourite of the series. Except for the disappointing ending.

This reminds me how awful the tauntfughting sequence and that sea battle minigame in MI 3 was. The only bad part of the game, but boy was it bad.

Half the people in here are probably too young to even remember the game. Hope it is good, but the original is the best, those new graphics ruin it.

If you've never played a Monkey Island game, you ought to get the remake that's supposed to come out later this year. Move on from there if you like it.

Meh, It's not The Curse of Monkey Island.

I just played a part of the first episode. So far it's, well, good. It's a lot less funny than the original games and oftentimes just fails to make you even smile. At other times it at least produced a chuckle or two. The voice acting is really good, imo. Not much to say here. The graphics are great! Not that it would matter all that much but the game is really very colourful. The animations are fine too, and I still don't see why people could have a problem with the way Guybrush looks. The puzzles so far were pretty basic, combining items, finding a membership card etc. Nothing groundbreaking. I'm a bit disappointed that I couldn't enter ANY of the houses I've seen so far, they are all locked. I guess most you'll enter later on but it puts me off. Also, the world map top down view is back!
