So I have settled on Xiba, mostly due to the fact he is the only character I have actually managed to beat people with on a more then luck basis.
I've settled on Tira. Mostly because she's weird but fun.
Good luck on that, you're going to need to learn all her combos or else you wont stand a chance against an average Mitsurugi player. Sadly.
It's actually not that bad. She's not as hard as I expected, the hardest part is remembering what stance I'm in and how to switch back. I'm a little too reliant on her 3B, though. I love me some launches.
Hey, just posting in this thread so that I could get in on some FP SoulCaliber matches. My Xbox live tag is Smash911, so if the op would put that up there, it would be pretty cool. Also, I'm not sure how you guys are doing, but I have been having loads of fun just messing with the custom character editor. Some of my better ones include a standard Imperial Legionare (or something like that) from Skyrim, Link from LoZ, and Ryu from Street Fighter. Hope to see you guys around!
I'm thinking about buying this. I've only ever owned 2 fighting games. And each one I sold back but I think if I commit myself this will work out.

They may suck at first but once you start getting the win streaks against equally good players, that's when it becomes a blast.

I find that both are pretty fun to play as, and both of them are pretty unique, seeing as Z.W.E.I. has the Wolf conjuration thing and Ezio, is, ya know, an assassin with multiple forms of weaponry. I love it. I'm messing with him now. He seems really annoying to master, but I've got a vague idea of how to play him. I figure at my level, the sheer wtf level will give me an edge. Z.W.E.I. REALLY bugs me for some reason, and I'm not sure why.
Zinayzen when you beat that Ivy on the first match you have no idea how excited that got me. [editline]8th February 2012[/editline] I jizzed everywhere

[editline]8th February 2012[/editline] I jizzed everywhere[/QUOTE] I realized that my Patrolkos is actually decent. That Voldo was just to confuse people, including me. Also, this Ivy annoys me. Right after I beat him he sent me "nub grab faggot". I'd kick him but it's more likely that I beat him than you. Man I need to practice more. I need more approaches and combo starters than 3B. [editline]9th February 2012[/editline] also i fucking hate xiba [editline]9th February 2012[/editline] and i use the word decent VERY loosely
This dude is better then us obviously but I'm actually learning something from these fights. Only reason I'm staying.
[QUOTE=Professer Trall;34614969]This dude is better then us obviously but I'm actually learning something from these fights. Only reason I'm staying.[/QUOTE] I am also learning, but not as much and also very slowly and painfully. I need to do practice mode but I don't want to close the room. :( [editline]9th February 2012[/editline] I just figured out an inescapable (I think) 210+ damage combo. Oh boy. :v:
I need study Xiba's moves more, after looking at them for a bit there were plenty I could have used against the Ivy that would counter her constant attacks.

Learn the special moves and know when to strike and how to make combos. Combos after your opponent missed are deadly, and will radically change the course of the battle.
[media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmbs-5iIFbs[/media] Also posting this here. Hey, I'm less bad now. :D
Yeah you should stick with Patroklos. Also I believe there is an option to upload replays directly from the game without having to use a camera or program.
Only on ps3. :(
I have been encountering more and more of Aeon. He is such a load of shit and makes me want to tear my arm off.
i'm watching xiba in a cat costume and a rainbow staff beat up superman cervantes. god i love this game.
I look into this thread and you're talking about tons of fighters I've never fucking heard of, who the fuck are all these people!
