It still sucks thou, and i just noticed there were rigs in there too, good job.
Active hardeners are more effective at protecting you. That, and there is no such thing as a fully passive invulnerability resistance amplifier.
That fit still sucks though. Should have put a damage specific shield rig in for that core defence safeguard. And how do you expect to solo in that without a warp scrambler or webifier?

it was a new install in the VM so it had no chat channels or anything set up
Aren't those pirate ships only available through LP stores? That'd explain it.
