Mining is currently the easiest and most accessible way to get ISK. Buffing it too much would horribly unbalance the economy, as well as make macros more profitable, which nobody wants.

I think maybe he meant to type 45 million but accidentally added an additional 0, making it 450 million.
No, I was buying minerals (to resell) through contracts, saw something that was almost certainly too good to be true, 2 million mex at 25 units a piece(jita is buying for 31). Calculated it, 620,000,000 isk. The contract was up for 500 million. Checked it AGAIN, 620,000,000, according to my calculator and my eyes. Bought it, checked it for reselling, 62,000,000 isk worth. Need to use a better calculator (and/or eyes) next time.

As anyone with half bad math skills can tell, 2,000,000 x 31 would be 62,000,000, not 620,000,000. So I done fucked up.
