But dude! His PALADIIIIIN! [editline]11:32PM[/editline] I don't think he listens to half of what people say to him, honestly.
I find it hilarious that he got into a goonswarm member corp and 2 days later i'm hearing about him being dumb through jabber.
Saw that one coming, to be honest.
No, you still get a lossmail even if you die in PvE. Every time you die, no matter how, you will get a lossmail.
SSHH DON'T TELL HIM THAT. All it says is "oh look I died to rat's". Not very interesting.
yes but I want to see your shitfit
yes but I want to see your shitfit
Where do you get off thinking it was a shit fit? [editline]01:17AM[/editline] My fits > your fits.
Why can't I find the EVE trailer that involves a dude mining while making obnoxious sound effects? It was a masterpiece.

Epic battle between thousands of players? LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG
Got my first destroyer yesterday. I like having tons of turrets.
The guns look too big on small ships like frigates and too small on battleships.

It was a fan-made trailer, basically spoofing typical trailers. "EVE ONLINE IS FULL OF ACTION" then cuts to the guy mining, with he himself doing the effects, which usually sounds like a dying cat.
Since I couldn't find any EVE online megathread, I'll ask here. Since I'm planning on buying the game, I'm really interested in the idea of purchasing game time with in-game currency, but I've never really received a clear answer on just how to do this, or whether it is actually possible. I've been given answers from "No" to "You can send ISK to people in exchange for time codes" to just plain "Yes." So, my questions are such: 1. Is it possible to purchase game time with ISK? 2. If so, how much does it cost? 3. And where and how can I do this?

Theoretically anywhere, but Jita would probably be the best place to look due to being the biggest trading hub in the game.

Player makes a forum post in the time code trade forum OR Step 2b. Player redeems time code through in-game dialogue and recieves PLEX gametime items Step 3. Player sells the time code on the forums for in-game currency OR Player places the PLEX item on the in-game market for in-game currency Step 4. Other player buys timecode or PLEX item for in-game currency. Success!
If you are interested in getting the game and paying via in-game time, you should get a trial from one of the facepunchers around here. Some of them will give you a chunk of money and a lot of advice, and you can upgrade your trial right to a full account without losing your character, money, or possessions.
hey, say if one uses my buddy invite and activate with a plex, will I get a month of game?
Pretty sure you will. [editline]03:35PM[/editline] That's kind of the point, last I checked.
PLEXes have shot up in prices last I checked. Around 330-340 mil now. The buddy system works with any activation other than Steam, too.

As a new player, it will be difficult if you want to do anything other than make money. Best thing I can tell people is don't play the game to be able to play the game. Play for fun, and if you find you can afford to buy your gametime, it's all good.
Join a wh corp, salvage for them, you get a plex in no time.
Join a wh corp, salvage for them, you get a plex in no time.
WH corp?
Wormhole corp. Corporations that hole up in Wormhole space and run Sleeper sites.
My God, the lag on Sisi is horrible right now. 800 ship fight.
Hey, I just started playing EVE and I was wondering if anyone here has a corp I could join. I'm not new to EVE, I used to make trial accounts and play those every once in a while. But now I bought the game and I'm looking for a group of people to play with.
There's a ton
join a corp, get to their hangar, and steal everything that's there if you can. that'll take a long time to gain their trust but if they're rich you get delicious isku~
