Goddamn, I remember the days. I wanna get back in, I used to use my mammoth as a shield rig, I had A shield transporter, extended and hardener, Then my rifter. Shit that thing was the best. A few 220mm Gatlings and a few other goodies on that shit, with a Microwarp drive and a cap booster, Was a good hit an run ship. Then I had my retriever. Good mining vessel it was.

What does it mean when there are strange web-like emissions coming from a ship? Cause a bunch of yellow-icon-colored ships were outside the station I was at, and one of them was emitting that crap...Thought they were attacking the station or some shit, so I ran back inside. Came back out and nothing seemed to be going on, despite a large number of people sharing the same icons, whatever that means.

Like a ripple or light rays?
A ripple represents a webifer and light rays represent a sensor booster. Either way, you have nothing to worry about, since it doesn't involve you or your corp.

The wormhole like effect is from the webs. It may have been the ECCM waves which are ripples.

Also this. Still, don't worry about the yellows, they will get CONCORDed if they attack, which is more than enough reason for them to leave you alone.
Except for suicide gankers. But that will only happen in the cases of carrying hundred millions worth of loot.

Question for you guys: What kind of weapon (that goes on a BS) can completely obliterate a Scorpion in less that 3 hits? Because i just saw that happen.
depends what the scorp is tanking against
cause thermal/kinetic (missiles/AC/blasters) would obliterate a badly tanked one
any BS set up for high alpha that is doing a type that the scorpion is weak to would obliterate one

A Machariel can get 15000+ volley with 1400mm artillery if it's fitted for pure damage (I got it as high as 18000 in EFT with officer mods), so if the Scorpion had no tank, was sitting still (or webbed/painted), and the pilot had very poor skills, it could conceivably get killed in two hits.

I may be remembering wrong, but I don't think you get CONCORD'ed for entering highsec with -10 sec, NPC faction navy ships go after you (there's a definite difference between the two). Unless it's just low faction standing where that happens, but I'm thinking it applies to sec status too.

-2.5 = Shot by Police in 0.9's <__\
-3.0 = Shot by Police in 0.8's <___\ In these, you'll get shot up by NPCs, but players cannot attack you.
-3.5 = Shot by Police in 0.7's <___/ The only real damage they can do is bump you to keep you from warping away quickly enough.
-4.0 = Shot by Police in 0.6's <__/
-4.5 = Shot by Police in 0.5's <_/
-5.0 = Outlaw Status (Can be shot by [U]anyone[/U], [U]anywhere[/U], with no GCC)
Faction standing is a whole different issue. If your faction standing with one of the Empire Factions goes too low, you'll get attacked by their faction police, similar to Concord, but a slightly different mechanic.

My caldari standing is like.... -2.4 or something and i can freely go to any caldari system. In fact, i live in caldari space, and i am gallentean.
