This talk of mining in cruisers is giving me flashbacks of my Osprey mining days... I'm still haunted by it. I strongly advise going into mission running while you skill up for pvp, many of the skills overlap. Mining is a dead end.

Exequrors are pretty good at killing frigates, and people are more likely to engage them compared to a Vexor.

I remember when I tried mining in a Badger. Thankfully I got really bored of it really fast and did missions until I ended up in a nice little pvp training corp.

A friend of mine who started playing EVE thinks he can mine until he has shitloads of money and laughs at me bashing my way thorugh .0 in my rifter. I told em he was gonna need combat and ship skills for his oh so expensive battlecruisers but he said it would be no problem.
Turns out i was right, now he's super pissed coz he's gotta learn loads of skills. Shoulda listened.
This is coming from someone who actually trained Exhumers 5...don't bother training for mining skills if you actually want to make good amounts of isk. You will be far better served by training combat skills (for pve) and trade skills (market pvp). You will end up with oodles of cash compared to what you would gain mining.
Well, right now I don't regret for skilling to the hulk. I like to mine for a change from all the missis.

You know this will cause endless, dramatic, horrendous failures for veterans who are so used to the old methods.
IE: Typing "LOL FAIL" which accidentally cycles your guns and gets you gcc.

Problem is that it is way to easy to get into mining, and as a consequence the multitude of miners are pushing the price of minerals down.

They should go through and start banning macroers again. There seems to be too many of them.

They should use letters for their identifiers, not symbols. F for faction, D for deadspace, O for officer, and S for storyline.
When are they going to let us test out the new PI features?

Ugh, I have some kind of stupidity issue where I end up requesting a mission, setting the destination, doing 10 jumps then realizing I forgot to actually accept the mission.
You're doing missions that send you 10 jumps away? Are they courier missions?
