What if you swapped out one of those large shield extenders for a shield recharger? Might be able to keep most of the tank while freeing up some PG.

I have it yeah, but now that I look at it it is at IV so I guess I'll train that some other time. I'm worried more about some other skills at the moment.

I fit that with a 6.6m SP character, with your skills it would beat the nighthawk.
and yes I know tengus are more expensive, I just wanted to point out that your nighthawk fit wasn't exactly mindblowing.

I have to ask... do you normally use a passive tanked Tengu, or did you do that just for this instance? If you aren't using an active tank, you're seriously wasting the ship. Just use a Drake.

I'm using this for gurista sanctums, I just passive fit that for the sake of a fair comparison.

demonguard the Nighthawk wasn't about the tank but rather about the Warfare Link Mod. Nighthawk is pretty much a Drake but with twice the tank and 5 times the price. I mean I could do the same thing with my Tengu too but at 3 times the price of the Nighthawk or [b]15 Drakes[/b].
So it just comes down to how much you are willing to spend on the same job.
for the record I could swap 1 sub and have a warfare link on the tengu
but yeah I get that it's expensive as hell, but you do get what you pay for with a spectacular tank/dps and insane versatility.

I tried the free EVE trial about two years ago, but the interface was so complex that I gave up in two days, however, now I'm going to try again. When you get in, at the top right of the chat windows, hit Channel Menu, and join the "Facepunch Chat" Channel ingame.
You can also sign up for an extended trial through many of us FPers.
