Just took advantage of that sale.
This is the only MMO in existence to make me break my rule: Never pay a monthly fee.
You can put me on the extended trial invite list.
No, people tried that last steam sale but it didnt work and CCP confirmed its intentional.
The 90 days I got from trial invites to never-used alts the last time this happened disagree with you.
Just got this game, seems like i'd enjoy it. Can anyone give me their name so i can maybe ask some questions as i play?

Confirming I just bought the steam Sale for $2. I sent one of my alternate emails an extended invite code. I made an account through that email. I then went into the EVE Properties in Steam Game library, hit the bottom button "EVE Online Website" And entered my newly made name and pass. And viola! New account made with 51 (21+30) Days of paid time. And I was credited with 30 days free on my main account.
So... for $2.00 I got 30 days of gametime for my main, and 51 days of gametime for a new alt.

Is this perhaps exploitable? Buying a dozen or so copies right now?
You only get 3 trial invites per month per account, so it could only be "exploited" to 90 days.

Per month.
If you buy it as a gift on steam and gift it to your own email address, you can keep them and resend them (to yourself, heh) as you like.
So send a buddy invite to 3 separate emails, accept the trial on each, download eve trial on 3 new steam accounts,
play once on each account, gift it on steam to each account and play it? presto?
need to know so I dont fuck up.
You technically never even need to start up EVE.
And Oliolio, you missed the part where I said that.

just bought in sale hoping to play soon.
If someone would kindly gift this to me so i can get an extra 30 days and a new miner alt id be very happy.
Your hard drive is crying.
Also someone explain EXACTLY how to do this.
I know you invite an email with the buddy program, then you gift them the whole game on steam, or something along those lines.
I bought Eve from steam and when I started it up It wouldn't log into my account. I haven't played Eve for months, and that was on the 14 day trial. Do I have to make a new account, or is there a way to using my old account? I can't figure it out...
Does anyone know if you can buy GTC in store anywhere?
I have no money in the bank, but enough in my wallet.
[editline]02:10AM[/editline]
If not, and I realise how slim the chances are, would anyone be so kind as to gift me (Niall R in game) 10m?
Making a guide...
-Go to your main account, and send a buddy invite to any valid email address.
-Use that email to make a new account.
-Buy Steam Client for $2.00
-Don't Install the game. Just Right Click > Properties
-At the bottom, hit EVE Online: Tyrannis Account Page
-Enter your new account details.
-Profit.
You now have a 51-day Active Alt
You now have 30 days on your main.

Assuming you live in the US...
Go to your local convenience store.
Give them the money + $5 to buy one of these.
Follow instructions.
Voila, money transferred from wallet to Paypal.
Anyone know how long the sale is going on for?

I must be completely blind because I'm not seeing it.
Edit: Found it - I am blind
ok im going to do that its awsome =)
Played a trial version of this game several times in the past, and when I saw that it was on sale for just $2 I simply could not resist.
same here, im still tossing up which race to go with while its downloading, a friend who already plays says that it only affects where you start off, is that true?
how exactly would you activate a 21 day trial, then buy EvE on steam and get the 30 days added?
Get the trial, download EvE, create account.... Then buy on steam and link your steam account to your already created EvE account?
I want to know how much ingame money I do need get more days, for example 30 days?
Scroll up dude.
All I see is how to get more days via "exploiting" the invintation system, no word about how much ingame money (ISK) does 30 days more playtime cost
