It's pretty easy when you're playing for a while.
If you go straight to a mission running boat you may be able to make the good isk after only 3 months of playing.
For 06.00 $ I got three alts with 51 days each and 90 days on my main. STEAM must feel violated. :v:

Yes you can do nothing but trading if you want to... Put up Buy orders and get things sold to you, then re-sell those with sell orders for a profit, all without ever leaving the station, or while out Mining for Ore and Minerals to mass produce items to sell, or Train for a freighter and buy objects in one location at a low price and sell them at another location for a higher price
And there are plenty of skills dedicated to just trading

I did that...but I was 100k points over my clone limit. That was a fun journey back - only exit was to 0.0 (this was after our POS got blown up by 5 carriers (I think) in a C6 WH). Did make it through everything alive.
Right, when CCP give us these skillpoints to spend, are we able to basically spend them on progressing skills?

no, the eve keys from steam store will not work with existing accounts
But they can be used to upgrade a trial account to a full one.

I think the skill training system is fine. I don't have to grind to level up. I just have to grind a very little bit to get ISK.

Gift it to your own email address, then when you find his address, go into steam and go "manage gifts and passes" and resend it to him.
