Fun times, so basically our corp who is mostly comprised of 50 or so people with accounts less than 2 months old got war dec'd by a pirate corp of 21 people who've got like at least a year experience and are hunting people down using those special agents, and things are getting really dumb because they all have battlecruisers and we're just buying cheap frigs to just annoy them. We [i]almost[/i] took out one of their drakes earlier today.
They've want 600 mil for them to stop, and I really think they're just doing this for shits and giggles.
I'm docked at a station and there's 3 of them camping outside right this moment. Time to pull out the trusty ol' Ibis.

We need a ship called "Sovereign" in EVE. Also a "Reaper".

actually, railguns with a damage mod does the same as you would with just the equivalent blaster
So I'm rounding the bend of Caldari battleship II, should I plan for a Raven for missioning or Rokh for sexiness? I'm currently thinking Rokh.
Although I have nowhere near the funds to get anything above a Ferox at the moment...

It depends on what weapon skills you want to focus on. The Raven uses missiles, the Rokh uses turrets. If you want a mission running ship, go with the Raven, it's a much better ship for PVE. If you don't want to invest training time into missile skills, then the Rokh would be the better option.

I have training time in in both cruise missiles and large hybrid turrets, both are level 3. All relevant skills for each are level 3 or more.
The thing is, I have not spent any time "teching up", pretty much the only tech 2 stuff I can currently mount is cargo expanders and tech 2 light turrets.
you will NEED most t2 tank stuff for your raven/rokh if you want its tank to be any good
You're better off with the Raven for missions. Before you try level 4s though, you need a tech II tank or you'll be warping out too often to make a decent profit. Once you get settled in a Raven you can think about jumping to the Raven Navy Issue, and then to the Golem if you want missioning to be a main source of income.
Can you post a decent level 4 raven setup? I"m still hesitant about moving up to a Raven yet, I'm sticking with my Drake.

This will tank 1000 DPS for as long as the cap boosters last. You only need the cap booster for those "Oh shit!" moments, like if you accidentally trigger a spawn wave before you're ready and you're warp scrambled.

I know, I mean I was searching through the market for ships named that. When Reaper didn't come up, I assumed it didn't exist.
It's because you can't put buy/sell orders on rookie ships.

Artillery is all about the alpha strike. If you haven't killed what you are shooting at in the first shot, you warp away and come back again from a different vantage point.
