Hooray I've got 3 new trial invites to give out [editline]01:24PM[/editline] If you buy the game you get 30 days with it without paying extra, and in that 30 days, especially if you're in an established Corp, you'll have the money in-game to buy your game time
If you have enough ISK in your wallet to get a PLEX, you should be able to petition a GM to reactivate your account for a small period of time to get a PLEX and activate it iirc
That makes no sense. Once someone logs out they warp 1 million km away. How are you going to steal the ships?
I don't know, for some reason, there are always unpiloted ships floating around the POS. Ships which are suddenly occupied when people come online.
For some reason he doesn't strike me as the honest type.
I'm really not. If it was an option, I would wait untill I have suffient skills to fly each and every one of them But I don't. Thus I will probably have to steal them one at a time, each time avoiding being booted out of the corp.
I'd wait if I were you. I can tell you first hand things like this require complex planning to pull off effectively. That, and I'm basically living evidence that patience is a must when it comes to doing things like this. Doing things too early can really fuck you over.
I don't know, for some reason, there are always unpiloted ships floating around the POS. Ships which are suddenly occupied when people come online.
Are they industrial ships? The only reason someone would leave a ship at a POS when logging off (ejecting and warping away in their pod) is if it's got a slow align time.
There is a mammoth, bestower and there may be an orca soon (but maybe not).
There is a mammoth, bestower and there may be an orca soon (but maybe not).
So if I have this right, you live in a wormhole, and you want to steal a few cheap industrial ships? Why not just stay with the corp and exploit sites, you'll make 1000% more money doing that.
There is a mammoth, bestower and there may be an orca soon (but maybe not).
You're not going to make shit if all you're stealing is two indys.
Well whatever, I have confirmation that the orca will indeed be there, so I won't even need to steal the indy's. I have 2 months before I can pull this off, so i'm sure I'll be able to figure it out.
Even an Orca isn't going to get you a lot of money compared to running wormhole sites, unless it's got T2 rigs and/or faction mods on it. And if that's the case, I doubt it would be left empty in a POS that isn't passworded against lower level corp members.
There is a mammoth, bestower and there may be an orca soon (but maybe not).
the fuck
Docking Request Accepted.
Just curious, what precisely is going on here? I see that you're in a pod, but I can't tell what the crap is going on behind it. Is it a screwed up wormhole or something?
Just curious, what precisely is going on here? I see that you're in a pod, but I can't tell what the crap is going on behind it. Is it a screwed up wormhole or something?
Nothing is happening. His pod is floating in the hangar of a titan on the test server.
I think all Whitefox does is play on the test server.
I'm going to miss out on three days of training because there isn't any internet in this condo. :saddowns:
You don't have anything that would take up three days?
HML V has been going for the past week or so, and i didn't switch it before coming to my current location.
I think all Whitefox does is play on the test server.
no :crossarms: My Subscription has ended and i have to go renew my Debit card. I have to get some type of EVE in my Daily gaming.
So got a question for you ladies and gentlemen. I'm getting my PC fixed (PSU Fried) this weekend and am going to be getting back in game. I've been eyeballing a Nighthawk for some time now (Caldari pilot) as my next ship to work towards. I have good missile skills and shield tanking skills and I believe that It'd be worth the investment. The question is, is a Nighthawk all it's cracked up to be? I can fly a stealth bomber now so going through assault frigates into HAC's then to a command ship (I got all the other skills, just not the AF/HAC skillbooks) It'd be quicker to get into a Vulture which, by the looks of it, is much more gang oriented than the Nighthawk. I plan on doing some wormholing with it due to it's high resistances and shield strength.

So I have absolutely no understanding of this game and haven't been able to play it yet and still won't for two weeks, but after following the organizations map for a couple days, and watching a bunch of them pop up, it begs the question... And I'll probably get yelled at for this. But why isn't there a Facepunch Corp? I'm not trolling, but it seems like new ones pop up a lot and I bet if a bunch of you guys got together you could totally do it. A lot of people play from here, right? Again, I don't really get the game, so that might be stupid.
Too diverse a people to be in a single corp.
Half of facepunch would be gate camping against their own corp, it's just how different the intentions of the people here are. Also, Kraiser, get on steam ffs, we'll play togather.
I just have set up my wh pos and then "oh wait i got a vacation trip in 3 days"
So I was thinking...I was reading on the EVE forums about corporate espionage and theft, and I was wondering where people GO after they steal billions of ISK. Are there safe zones? Do you have like your own personal docking bay or something that no one can get to? And what do they do with the stolen goods, anyway? Sell them to another corporation? Sell them on eBay? The only reason I ask is because I've already decided that my sole purpose in EVE is going to be being an asshole. Corporate theft seems like a fun, fun thing.

When they ask you why, youll have some excellent story for them (i hope) but the good recruiter will dig further. you can make some good isk if you know how to, but it wont last for long
Wouldn't the smartest solution be to get a mentor? Obviously, that guy can't steal stuff any more, but no one would suspect someone new, right? So clearly I need someone experienced in corp theft to train me in his ways and then when I pull something off, he gets a cut. That's pretty much the best of both worlds. I learn how to do it, and I get a free shot. Hm.
In EVE, corporations tend to put a lot of their assets in corporation hangar arrays (buildings that act like a station but really aren't.) People can also store their own assets in their own personal hangar in a station owned by an NPC faction, which nobody else has access to. Putting assets in the corp facilities makes it easier (especially for industry corps) to perform manufacturing and research jobs because everything they need is right there. The way corp theft works (in my head) is you join the corp, gain the trust of the directors to grant you access to some (or all) of their assets, then get a big ship and stuff the valuable things in there, get away and put the things in a personal hangar at an NPC corp owned station.
