Well, I've done some stuff with aiding fellow Facepunchers. :3:
Where r u guys atm
Black Rise. This place has got to have the shittiest market I've ever had the misfortune of using in EVE.

Just join the Facepunch channel and ask as many questions as you like, I'm glad to help out. I doubt anyone in here would make you go somewhere only to kill you when your less than 5 days old.
Wooh just got my first destroyer

Alright, that was 3 words, but hell, I am sure we have a couple of them in Facepunch.
Wheres the fun in can baiting newbies?
Wheres the fun in can baiting newbies?
There's none for intelligent people. But retarded sick individuals do it for the lulz.
There's none for intelligent people. But retarded sick individuals do it for the lulz.
You seem mad.
You seem mad.
Nah, I am bored of the tears on the EVE forums. They take up mah precious time!
I'll transport all the ore you mine to station for you
I had a good friend of mine haul ore for me once, he hijacked 4 hours worth of ore. I suppose that was the price of our friendship...
I had a good friend of mine haul ore for me once, he hijacked 4 hours worth of ore. I suppose that was the price of our friendship...
Perhaps it was to get you into the "Don't trust anyone" mentality. Which is somewhat true. You guys can trust me. :3:
I can finally fly a Retriever. Now I can't fucking wait for the Hulk.
I can finally fly a Retriever. Now I can't fucking wait for the Hulk.
they aren't exactly cheap you know. first time I got a hulk I had to buy it twice, cause the first time there was cheap one that was only one jump away from highsec, so I thought I could get in and get out without being noticed. I couldn't. so I took a loan from the corp and spent the next few weeks being about 171 mil in debt.
That is why having a scout is a good thing. Honestly though, as far as making isk goes, mining is not the answer.
That is why having a scout is a good thing. Honestly though, as far as making isk goes, mining is not the answer.
well, it depends. it's relatively low effort, and low cost. but it doesn't make much. I mean, technically the best way to make money is trade, but how many people actually do that for a living?
I spend my time mining while browsing the market looking for things to haul. Works out pretty well, and it's about as safe as you'll get.
That is why having a scout is a good thing. Honestly though, as far as making isk goes, mining is not the answer.
You know, I'm trying to keep in mind that not everyone thinks like me, but my honest, tactless, not-caring-about-differing-opinions response to people mining in this game: Stop it. Please, I'm begging you, for the love or god or science or whatever you believe in, don't do it. Quit now before it's too late. Mining is probably the least profitable thing you can do in this game. Even in 0.0 space, it's not a money maker. The only, and I mean only reason you should ever mine is if you work from home and want an EVE activity you can do while you work. That's it, there is no other reason to mine. Even if you're a crazy person and you love doing it, do something else. Run missions and mine the ores that sometimes pop up in those if you must, but stop doing it as a primary source of income. This response comes from my experience with EVE. I started out mining, got to where I was flying a Hulk with an Orca boosting and still made garbage money.

I don't think it's a bad idea to train up to at least a Retriever to help in corp mining ops every now and then. But I do agree, making it a primary income source is a horrific idea.

You can -easily- make twice the isk an hour doing only missions, even an afk domi setup will earn you as much if not more. Mining is a broken profession (isk wise), done only by macro-miners and new players who haven't gotten up to a hulk yet.
But, mining is a great sleep aid.
So what IS the best way to make ISK? And what's the afk domi setup he's talking about? Being afk and making money seems useful. :v:
I believe it's doing L4 missions with a permatank and drones .
So what IS the best way to make ISK? And what's the afk domi setup he's talking about? Being afk and making money seems useful. :v:
basically, just fit a decent tank, agro entire room, and release your drones.

I run Missions, Trade and Mine, albeit I trade mostly, Run missions second and Mine third.... I did a lot of Station trading and went from as little as 4 mil in my wallet to 530mil in my 30 days I had subbed, Except for when I bought about 8 modules for 18Mil each, took them to another place and sold them for 32mil each, Other than that I made my money Station Trading, That's also with Buying and Fitting a Drake, Ferox and Hurricane in the meantime Is that a lot? Some will say Yes, Some will say It's alright, and some elitists will laugh and call you a noob. Whatever works for you works for you and no one saying otherwise is going to change it. If you want to mine, Mine. If you want to endlessly run missions then run missions. Isk is Isk
So a war target that killed me the other day in my untanked empty bestower send me a mail just now with this link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBHHBJYUo0E A FRAPS of him killing me in his vaga. IM FAMOUS!
