My boss, Ar Zor, goes on level 5 missions. I tag along and salvage after each battle in the room. Hell, 1 rat alone has a bounty of over 1 million on level 5's.
Salvage does give you a ton of isk, I'm back in Motsu pissing people off. V:v:V

I ran a few of them when they could be done in highsec, they're fairly easy with a RR alt (or corp member if you don't have an alt). Now I would say they aren't worth it, systems with agents and the surrounding areas get camped too heavily.

they don't yield *better* isk but they do compared to the time and amount of risk you'd have to take doing lvl 5's. now, if you'd be able to get a chain of remote ECCM alts up and running you could do lvl 5's risk free lol

Been having some trouble with eve here, I can play more maybe 10 minutes then my entire computer locks up, but yesterday I was able to play for hours contently with no trouble at all. Kinda weird.
Is it possible to scan effectively with 3 probes? 2 days for Astrometrics 4 and even longer for level 5 is a bit of a long stretch.
Wait, if you have Astrometrics 3 you can use 4 probes.
