Go Missioning then PVPing. No wonder so many people think the game is boring when all they do is mine.
Eve is boring at first, but once you buy your first ship, and join your first corp (then proceed to have a mutiny, and steal said corp's members :P ) it will get funner. Although, eve is hard as FUCK
Well, Nivloc said he had bigger fish to fry than us. Does anyone know any good nullsec holding alliances near The Citadel region that would take us in if we made a shitload of shit for them? I mean, that's really what we like doing, mining and building stuff. Sometimes we go plexing or missioning, but most of the time we sit on our ass mining while talking to pass the time. Then we make shit and reap the rewards.

I stole my BF's account :P ) What didn't i answer? Also, my corp is now in: Slays, in the Duvolle Labratory station. We had to move because my previous corp was being a bunch of dicks, and constantly raiding us. [editline]05:19AM[/editline]
What ship did she lose?
I lost a pod. I had a suspicion, so i left the station in my pod. My suspicion was correct.
Anyways, thinking about buying EVE. So how does the payment system go again? Isn't it you pay for 30 days game time, whether you are paying or not, or pay for 30 days game time, that only drains while you play. Also if they have both, WHATS THE COST.

They'll only agree to that if you can provide the mods below jita price, which makes you make 0 profit or even lose isk
But running to and from Jita can be dangerous. Especially when you start out in 0.0. If I was that alliance boss, I would probably buy the things, but not for anything considerably over the Jita price.
Goddamit CCP get your shit together. These database and server issues are getting annoying already.
They were removing deep safes during today's downtime, so you should expect major delays while they get shit sorted.
They were removing deep safes during today's downtime, so you should expect major delays while they get shit sorted.
Holy crap, they actually didn't take that long.

Anyways, I'm not too busy atm ingame (Master Zeuth), so if you guys need any help starting up, I'll try to do whatever I can, bearing in mind my alliance has 2 decs up against it.
What do you guys think of my Lowsec PVE fit? http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/43185-Rifter-Low-sec-belt-ratter-speed-tanked.html#msg534408 It's got damn good firepower for a frigate, and it can anihilate cruisers without taking a hit.

About as bad as mining, in fact. If it's about 'risk', then plex in lowsec, don't rat.
To plex, I have to fit my shit out with scanning equipment, and that is just annoying. Besides, I do not really spend much. Anyone want to give me an idea for how much I can make in a 0.4 plex? Also, are there battleships? I hate them.
you can expect anything and everything in low sec.
except warp bubbles
And bombs LOL
Fucking frigates! You know, I have never wanted to pull my hair out at anything, until these bastards. They are the only type of ship that can hit me when I am not moving in a straight line, and they are the only one that the complexes I have just scouted out want to throw at me! I iwsh I had the cash to buy and fit out a raven.
Frigates always take priority, even if you're in a Raven. The last thing you want is a warp scrambling frigate to jump on you, and before you notice your tank cracks and you can't get out. [editline]02:40PM[/editline] I'm tempted to fit out a plexing Drake so I can go scanning in lowsec and just get a feel for how profitable it is before I take my Tengu out there.

I was running a mission, didn't notice the warp scrambling frig until my tank was already gone.
Oh my fucking God are my corpmates dumbasses. So they want to hold an audio meeting in this .4 sec. system and absolutly wanted me to come. So I take a shuttle into there and i meet like 3 -10 pirates at the gate. I zip past them and dock at the station. So then ALL the audio meeting was was the "leader" trying to boot up his crappy computer. After that my internet went out for about an hour. When I logged back on there were still about 5 of my corpmates shitting their pants in the station about how we were gonna get out. I check up local and see about 10 -10 pirates in the system. When I came in 3 of them were camping the station. I am stranded because of my idiot corpmates.
Why would you have a audio meeting in 0.4, why wouldn't you use vent or something?

Just warp to an object closest to being inline with your ship when you undock. Also keep in mind the session timer, you can't be attacked for 30 seconds when you undock as long as you don't activate any modules or set a heading on your ship.

Hell ya i'm outta here! EDIT:I made it out! Go shuttles!
How do you even manage to die in a shuttle, I don't even know. Considering that you are night lockable, there are no bubbles in lowsec, interceptors would die tackling you on a gate, nobody wastes sec status for shuttles.
I dont think its fair to attack an industrial or shuttle. Even if they are people you are at war with/wanted people. Its not fair to shoot an unarmed ship.

Gotta agree with Sam here, plus a shuttle is one of the fastest things out there and you can tank a industrial, or at least give it a insane buffer.
Not personally an EVE player here, but thought you guys might be infuriated to know that a pirate raid destroyed $1,295 worth of PLEX gametime
For several reasons, EVE Online subscriptions - "pilot license extensions" - have become an in-game item to be bought and sold among players - and stored in cargo holds of the sci-fi MMO's ships. You know where this is going. Seventy-four "PLEXes" - these 30-day subscriptions - were in the cargo of "a lone Kestrel in in Jita" reports Massively, apparently a bad neighborhood and an underweight craft. Two pirates scanned the cargo and pounced. Though they could have stolen the cargo and used or sold it in-game with the consent of EVE publisher CCP, it was instead destroyed by the raid. Seventy-four 30-day codes amount to six years of game time, and cost more than $1,000. Why are these things destructible virtual items? Massively says that CCP had problems with players buying in-game currency from shady gold-farmers, and commoditized the 60-day game time code as a 30-day PLEX that can change hands legitimately in the game without sanctions. This allows folks who are good at building up ISK (the game's currency) to renew their subs via playtime, more or less. Only last month did CCP enable these items to be transportable by ship. Obviously, pirates scan cargo before they attack, so one could assume any PLEX, let alone 74, makes you a high-value target in a bad neighborhood. At current prices, 74 PLEX would command 22 billion ISK. If bought from CCP, the six years, two months worth of game time would cost $1,295. Ouch.
Source
