Also what killboard you guys use battleclinc, eve kill, griefwatch or some other?
In regards to Dust 514, I do not think console players will, on the whole appreciate how expensive and frankly, impractical capital ships are. The average FPS player, at least the ones who will get the game knowing next to nothing about EVE itself, will just want the biggest ships, the coolest guns, and the most cash. I think they will have to do some serious balancing to appease these guys. Anyway, how will the whole link between soldiers (console players) and capsuleers work? Capsuleers are not what you would call a fine speciemen of humanity, because they spend most of their life inside a pod, not exercising, not getting any sunlight ect. Would we lord over them in our fantastic space ships? Give them rides to the next battle field? Also, is the threeway cross compatibility confirmed? I would love so much to be able play against or with all my friends.

What the hell? A high slot MWD/AB?
click+drag=move mods around, regardless of slot.
Really? That's very helpful.

When someone works hard for their kickass new 100k ISK assault rifle they're going to get their minds blown that a battlecruiser costs about 40 MILLION isk and a capital ship is in hundred millions and billions.
Oh I see, but what if he brings big weapons and gets all mad?
Relax. If he's a miner, why would he have guns? If he's mission running, just fit a buffer tank with resists to whatever missiles/ guns he's using, and neut+ scram him so his tank will break (unless he's running a passive one) If he's just out in space, still use a buffer tank, scram, neut, ransom. Unless he's gotten wind of the plan, he'll either have an active tank (neuts will take care of that), passive (pray that it's not setup against your damage type), or no tank.
Moreto please delete your post, do you want more people finding out or secrets?
There's always pms. :3:
What's a good system for ninja salvaging
Any system that has a level 4 18 quality agent I think, check out the nearby systems too because you do get a lot of missions out of the system you are in.

It would be fucking amazing if you could land on planets, and commence to fucking shit up. And you could, i dunno... start colonizing an uninhabited planet, like in a planet in a wormhole. That would be better than a POS imo, because it can't be blown up unless some dickhead with balls of steel goes into the planet, and survives your defenses long enough to destroy the planetary base. Also, I fucking can not wait until DUST 514 comes out. I always wanted an FPS version of EVE. Although i would have preferred it to come out for PC as well.

My drake has a top speed of 800 km/s which is with a MWD and that is still really slow. We won't be able to directly interact with dust players, we might be able to chat and trade and stuff but the point is that the soldiers on the ground are going to be in our command, they're inferior to a capsuleer.

You'll probably still kill your mate, just not with cruise missiles, with a pile of falling spaceship, instead.
Didn't you see the Megathron (get blown to shit) in the end of the trailer?
I'm pretty sure that's the enemy command center, not a Megathron.

They can still be used offensively though.
The command center looks like a megathron?
Obviously.
Still, why are they using XM8's 19000 years in the future?
I don't think it is a huge resemblance though. [editline]03:17PM[/editline] Broke automerge...
Eve thread is moving faster than other MMO ones. :frogbon:
Eve thread is moving faster than other MMO ones. :frogbon:
It is moving pretty quick these last few days. It is moving about the same speed as the Halo thread atm.

I fail to see how us capsuleers would be able to have these soldiers under our command. Chain of command or not, these are still independant people who probably won't do what we tell them simply because we have 500m long battleships in orbit.

The whole point of Incarna is that Eve and Dust players will be able to meet. It's going to be sort of a mid-point of EVE and Dust514 - So yes, you will be able to interact with a Dust player as an EVE player, although not go directly down and visit them on the planets.
PI is pretty shit anyways outside of wormholes atm, unless planets are going to be more important, maybe anchoring stations around them or other stuff i cant think about.

I hope thatt you will be able to look at a crowd of people and say "He's a capsuleer, and he's not." As I said, Capsuleers aren't normal people, hence why, in the EVE universe, people tend to avoid them. Tthe never get sunlight, they never excercise, they have scars all over their body (from the plugins of the pod). If we look like normal, healthy people, I will not be particulary hapy. I will lap incarna up, of course, but not with the enthusiasm I would like to.
