6 months is too early
Dogbutt [editline]05:07PM[/editline] You think six months isn't enough to fly a BS??
I have been flying for 2 months and bought my first BS last night :3 (some random person gave me like 300,000,000 isk, because he was leaving the game or some shit.)
That is most definitely to early for battleships, have fun losing it on your first outing.
I try not to fly anything unless I can outfit it entirely in t2. (Not including t2 rigs. Those things are stupidly expensive.)
That is most definitely to early for battleships, have fun losing it on your first outing.
Are you talking PVE or PVP wise?
Are you talking PVE or PVP wise?
Either tbh, with a char that young you will not have the basic skills to keep a battleship alive.
I don't think it would be that bad, at least for PVE if they have the basics down, it'll just be ineffective

bHHNNNNhnnnn what the fuck
Either tbh, with a char that young you will not have the basic skills to keep a battleship alive.
I'm thinking it's been a while since you were a 6 month old character. It's pretty easy to have 5s in most important fitting, shield, and missile skills in 6 months.
web tank best tank
You lost 1 billion ISK. Holy FUCK.
I can't use any tech 2 guns and no tech 2 damage mods and I'm running L4's in my domi. V:v:V
I still cant play EVE, server wont connect, have tried everything related to port forwarding, firewall and router settings. //also how the fuck can someone fail so much in a t3, pvp with covert sub :colbert:
You lost 1 billion ISK. Holy FUCK.
they killed a silly billy loki
they killed a silly billy loki
Speaking of Loki, i just discovered you can build strategic cruisers to your needs! That's fucking cool!
I'm thinking it's been a while since you were a 6 month old character. It's pretty easy to have 5s in most important fitting, shield, and missile skills in 6 months.
I was talking to the guy who bought a bs two months in...
Speaking of Loki, i just discovered you can build strategic cruisers to your needs! That's fucking cool!
yeah - thing is that they aren't that customisable in practice, really. there's only a few good setups for each of them, and the amarr one, Legion, is just kinda bad. [editline]10:03PM[/editline] 6 months is too early for battleships.
Suddenly it connects to the server. :ghost:
yeah - thing is that they aren't that customisable in practice, really. there's only a few good setups for each of them, and the amarr one, Legion, is just kinda bad.
Legion can be pretty good, a a nueter or as a gank platform, but the tengu and loki are better, a tengu has a awesome tank and consistent damage across its range, and loki is minmatar, and that makes it awesome
How is the proteus? I've been thinking about training up to it one day here.
How is the proteus? I've been thinking about training up to it one day here.
Only rapetastic setup is the armor buffer (250k EHP+ / 700+ DPS) Amazing ship to fly and bait with.
Hrm, figures. Guess I should put some more training into caldari stuff to get a tengu.
noidea, can have a massive buffer though
A tackling guide written for the corp, leaked by me to you guys, so you too can learn how to be a successful tackler.
Since I'm so awesome/pro, I thought I'd write up a little guide to proper tackling so that all my Tuskers can be awesome too!! There are many bad habits in tacklers, and misconceptions that I would like to get out of all your heads. The most common misconception is that tacklers hold ships for fleets which they are already in. This is full of fail. A good tackler knows that he should have point a LONG time before he ever joins a fleet. So how do we do this? I'll explain. We'll start with you noticing a target in local, for this example we'll use a Ishtar. You should be in your trusty Rifter and at least 10 jumps from any friendlies. Your first instinct may be to check for a fleet or join one: This is bad, and will only lead to disappointment from your fellow Tuskers. Begin narrowing the target down with the D-scan or probes. Once you have him probed out DO NOT CALL FOR HELP. You may be wrong about his location, and there will be plenty of time for screaming for help later while your ship is on fire. Instead, warp in and get to range on the target. When you arrive at the target's location, fly straight at him. Do not bother with transversal or keeping range or any of that other wimpy stuff, just get right in there and tackle him! In all likelyhood he will fail to even target you appropriately, much less fire any guns at you. Plus, your Rifter is practically invincible. Once you have him targeted and pointed, you will have a very strong urge to notify your fellow Tuskers. It is important to remain calm through this very delicate portion of the tackling process though, and wait. Your target may have stabs on, and it will not look good to call for backup on the stabbed ship that has already retreated. At this point you should be well into structure. This is a good time to activate your mic and calmly say "point" in vent. Your fellow Tuskers will reply with encouraging comments like "huh?" and "wha... where?" The ensuing confusion should be relatively amusing, and give you plenty of time to attempt to get under the guns of the beast you are being raped by. Once everyone has formed up and is en-route to your location, you should calm them all by stating "Tressin's down" on vent. Enjoy the moment of silence wherein Tuskers proudly admire your bravery and sacrifice.
When I tackle I keep people updated on what I'm doing (not asking for help) because we are friends and like to talk hehe [editline]01:01AM[/editline] I'd rather look a little silly saying "nvm he was stabbed goddamn" than "lel i tackle whit out beckup en die" "why you not tell us for blackup:((" "honouré"
Are you sure want to eject from the ship? Be aware that your skills may be having an extensive influence on the ship. They may be all that is holding it together, providing the power needed to keep modules online or extra cargo space which you are using. Ejecting may therefore cause modules to go offline, excess cargo to be ejected or even cause the ship to explode.
Can I get an example of when the ship would explode?
Can I get an example of when the ship would explode?
You have skills that give you extra armor, shields, and structure. Say you have 90% structure damage and you eject, well without your skills there might be more damage than the ship now has hp.
Its pretty amazing how I've been playing eve for like a year and a half now and still have parts of the game which ive never even tried out, everytime people talk about pvp strats im like o.0
You've played for a year and never PVP'd? in a PVP game???
