Nice, my favorite item to trade atm is control towers. Buying one for 50m and then selling it for 100m is very cool. I wish you luck with your trading career, though I would suggest you ditch Jita for a smaller hub.

Join the Facepunch Chat, the Facepunch channel isn't official.
the channel "facepunch chat" is almost never empty, but there is another fp channel that is almost always empty. for what reason I do not know, but that's how it is.

So I went to my first big fleet battle (200+ in the fleet), and I have to say... the lag is so horrible that I'd rather sit in a belt mining all day than go through something like that again (and I hate mining with a fiery passion). I was all excited to be in an epic fight and as soon as we warp in to a red fleet... my game just about stops. My guns wouldn't cycle properly (stuck on red), my mwd wouldn't turn off, targeting anything in a sebo Hurricane took a good minute, even scrolling the overview to find called targets was extremely laggy...
Fleet wars should be the most fun thing you can do in the game, instead it's easily the worst. I'll take PVE over that garbage any day.

Do the smaller trade hubs have large gaps between the highest buyer/ lowest seller? Becaue in jita the price gaps are really really small so I might have to trade in quantities larger than one if I want to make any money.

Smaller trade hubs, the margins are larger, the volume is lower, and the buyer/seller price augmentation is lower. So basically they're much better for trading if you're just starting, but they won't get you nearly as fast sales as Jita.

You guys polly should try doing some anomalies or plexs in 0.0, way more rewarding and less mundane than being super carebears up in empire, even more so if your in JITA. I mean any self-respecting pilot wouldn't be caught seen in JITA local unless its a quick trip to stock up, much less to sit in the station and trade.
