it's cool sad faaaaaace
I got so used to motion blur in TF2, DoD:S, GMod and Portal that it actually feels weird playing games like CS:S. I hated it at first, but now I'm addicted to it.
per object motion blur is cool shit
Hey anothermartz do you use Reelsmart motion blur for adding motion blur to the video? I find using reelsmart motion blur to give a lot of articfacts with text and HUD or with transparent things, when I render it the motion blur in the video will flicker at some moments as well. Have you encountered these problems?
Yea, so I record at a high framerate, not only is the Reelsmart motion blur plugin more accurate and you get less artifacts: 30fps: [img_thumb]http://files.getdropbox.com/u/99783/Pictures/Motion%20Blur/30fps.jpg[/img_thumb] 96fps: [img_thumb]http://files.getdropbox.com/u/99783/Pictures/Motion%20Blur/96fps.jpg[/img_thumb] (look at the word at the lower right) But also, I can then use frame blending to further cover them up. Frame blending from 96fps to 24fps without motion blur: [img_thumb]http://files.getdropbox.com/u/99783/Pictures/Motion%20Blur/Frame%20Blended.jpg[/img_thumb] (doesn't look that good but is perfectly accurate) Reelsmart motion blurred at 96fps, then frame blended to 24fps: [img_thumb]http://files.getdropbox.com/u/99783/Pictures/Motion%20Blur/MB%20and%20Frame%20Blended.jpg[/img_thumb] (best of both, rarely any noticable artifacts) But it then creates the problem of getting a high fps video, I use Cheat Engine's speedhack to slow the game down, which means playing in slow motion and not being able to record sound properly and that's why I only do short clips as little experiments.
Battlefield 2 is a DX9 game. ENB Series is a DX9 "graphics extention", which adds Depth of Field, Screen Space Ambient Occlusion, Motion Blur and Psuedo HDR to 3D applications. I suggest researching ENB series. Do not try playing on punkbuster servers with it, you will be kicked.
For ENB Series for BF2, use this. http://boris-vorontsov.narod.ru/enbseries_gtasa_v0075.zip Put the files in your BF2 directory and ingame, press Shift + F12.
Get a really crap LCD monitor. Boom Instant blur.
thank you a lot
Your welcome, but... it doesn't give you motion blur.
Motion blur in Crysis was godly, it made the game look really smooth even at 30 FPS
Your welcome, but... it doesn't give you motion blur.
Yeah it does, the GTASA build of ENB has motion blur. D:
Yeah it does, the GTASA build of ENB has motion blur. D:
But does it work in BF2? The only thing I've seen from ENB in none supported games is bloom and color correction that you have to spend an hour configuring for it to not look like shit.
