I really liked Red Alert 3. In fact i am currently playing it. But i found the co-commanding meh, and i hater the fact there is this new "hot chicks" bullshit.
Other than that is a good game. Not excellent, but good enough.
Also, people hate because they are too atached to the originals, but if it's something like, let's say, i really old game that is getting a sequel now, like Red Alert 3, don't put us with your hot chick bullshit. If you have a completely new game, don't just put on the box art a old, loved franschise name, create your own.
People hate it because it's shit, EA completely disregarded RA2 and Yuris Revenge and just threw in a fucking time machine for the soviets completely ignoring that yuri stole it and got himself eaten.
Yeah just because the game doesn't have a LAN feature it will totally suck when you play it online.
Starcraft has a massive LAN following, I imagine the koreans'll be dissapointed.
I'll take Dungeon Keeper as example.
Man I loved that game, both parts were good but Dungeon Keeper 2 was a bit less.
Dungeon Keeper really is an unique game till this day, originating from 1997. I wish I could still play it on my computer, but microsoft screwed up the compatibility. It was so fun being evil, taking over dungeons and conquering the domains.
When Dungeon Keeper 2 was released I played it, but didn't like it as much. Mostly cause of the graphics, and it didn't really have the same feeling. It had more of a feeling that it was rushed off quickly.
