actually no, most people got those keys from exploiting a few AMD giveaways that were going on where you could get free Steam keys for Dirt 3
(oh how I hate that I wasn't there when it happened)
some of them could have the keys from their AMD products, but I'm sure most of them that are giving them away got them via the AMD giveaways
