"Your account has been verified, with 82 games, valued at $747.85." Well I certainly paid less than half that for all my games. Can anyone spare an invite? It'd be greatly appreciated. Edit: Thanks much to Teh Zip File.
Wow. The site sure is empty when you have it exclude games you already have...
Wow. The site sure is empty when you have it exclude games you already have...
How do you go about doing that?
How do you go about doing that?
http://www.steamgifts.com/forum/ba6uc/sg-enhancement-addon-v129 Then you go to giveaway filter settings at the main page, update it so it syncs with your Steam library then press sync. Went from like 15+ pages of giveaways to 53.
Dirt 3 looks tempting but I'm always worried about the possibility that someone could steal my account if they're giving keys out. I'll just play it safe and not enter.
Dirt 3 looks tempting but I'm always worried about the possibility that someone could steal my account if they're giving keys out. They could claim the key was stolen and your account could be disabled.
Just reached 200 giveaways and 0 wins *Staying optimistic!*

Why so many Dirt 3's
Why so many Dirt 3's
ATI promotion, buy blah card and get DiRT 3 for free
ATI promotion, buy blah card and get DiRT 3 for free
No AMD, not ATI. Also as I said before:
actually no, most people got those keys from exploiting a few AMD giveaways that were going on where you could get free Steam keys for Dirt 3 (oh how I hate that I wasn't there when it happened) some of them could have the keys from their AMD products, but I'm sure most of them that are giving them away got them via the AMD giveaways This is also why you can see a lot of people trading with Dirt3 keys. [editline]12th August 2011[/editline] I found out about it via Google after all the keys had already been given out by AMD: http://goo.gl/0iosK
:eng101:
uhhh what.... how can someone steal an account with a serial key... are you retarded?
Someone gives you Steam serial key. You use it and register a game onto your account. Said person goes to Steam support claiming their account has been stolen. They use the key they gave to you as evidence. Total lockout from your account shortly after. They now claim ownership.

I witnessed how people use it, and how they cried when it got fixed.
