[QUOTE=Teh Zip File;31743752]It's relative to the amount of giveaways created in the last week.[/QUOTE]
But, they changed the price around 3 times between yesterday and right now.

doesnt anyone ever read the forums
[quote=cg (thats the admin of the site guys)]
The cost of invites now fluctuates based on site activity in the past week. The number will automatically change in real-time, so if less points are being sent out, the cost of invites will drop accordingly. This way invites are always valued at a fair cost, and they're not too easy or too difficult to obtain based on the number of gifts being posted.
[b]Invite Cost = Points Distributed in the Past Week / Total Members * 1,000[/b][/quote]
If we get invited do we get an email or something?
Usually, people just obtain codes to give out to other people. You enter that code in when you want to register, unless they changed that.
wtf a soundtrack?

I knew you could give away Minecraft, but other than that I thought this was only about Steam games.
Unless you can suddenly buy soundtracks via Steam.
and you can apparently:

You would think with all these keys floating around they would have a sale on steam selling it for 20 bucks or something.. pathetic.
Wow, the site is crashing every 5 minutes :s What's all about those fake giveaways??
I registered yesterday and wanted to gift one small steam game, but I'll wait until the problem settles. I don't want them to believe it's fake :s
@Teh Zip File thanks again, man
First invite code:

Then you go to giveaway filter settings at the main page, update it so it syncs with your Steam library then press sync. Went from like 15+ pages of giveaways to 53.[/QUOTE]
Weird, I pressed the install button and it does nothing.
I wouldn't mind a Verification code...
"Your account has been verified, with 54 games, valued at $483.56."
[QUOTE=GreenDolphin;31741403]Someone gives you Steam serial key. You use it and register a game onto your account. Said person goes to Steam support claiming their account has been stolen. They use the key they gave to you as evidence. Total lockout from your account shortly after. They now claim ownership.[/QUOTE]
it does not work like that.... It used to back along time ago but you now need to have the keys for a larger portion of the games as well as receipts and proof of past email verification.
So how exactly does the verification work? Are invites periodically rolled out or does each individual person have to be specifically invited by another user?

People spend dynamically changing amounts of points on invitation codes which they can then send to people.

Is it safe to assume invite trading is not permitted?

No assumption necessary, it is in the rules.

People toss them out all the time though here so i'd keep watch if your interested.

First post here!
Anyway, I was wondering if I could edit my 'request for invitation' spot, as I accidentally entered before I was able to enter my validation text.
