Do you earn points by starting givaways? Which you can then spend on other givaways? Also, when you click on a particular giveaway the comments are all saying "thanks!" as if they've all won the game.

You get points in a pretty complicated way. Every time someone makes a giveaway, you get 5% of the points it costs to get into it. This assures people will only go in the ones they actually want. 2. You don't need to win something to be polite.
