Ok i'm gonna try to gift Garrys mod as Private soon. But one thing though. The reason i got 2 copies was that i was gonna gift my brother Garrys mod, but during the payment there was an error which made me buy 2 copies but he only got one, though on my gift list one says redeemed and the other one says sent but the button on the lower right corner says send again, and when i press that button i get a meny where i can choose to either send via email or through steam friends, but it also says that if i do this my brother wont get his copy. But since he as already the recieved the other one it shouldn't do anything right?

That's kind of an asshole move, why would you want to take away other people's chances at free games, while simultaneously selling stuff that you got for free that basically anyone can get for free?

Because people throwing these codes out for free does nothing for the community except dilute it with non-contributors. The more members of the site there are, the more infinitesimal everyone's chances are to get anything. Couple that with the percentage of bullshit giveaways and you should begin to see the problem. I know there are good people out there, but it's a numbers game.
You've only got so many people who are actually charitable and giving codes out to random people is not going to increase that number. It's not so much a community now that there are 28 thousand members as it is a line for handouts.
My feeling is that the site's going to have to undergo a big change or it's going to be utterly worthless very soon. Giving these codes out isn't gracious, and it's not making anything better. Private giveaways are great; the next time I offer a game up, it'll be private for FP members.
I'm won't sell anything, because it [i]would[/i] be an asshole thing to do. I also don't want to violate the rules of the site. But I'm not giving any invites out either unless it's to someone I know will contribute or somebody from the forums I get along with.

Make it a Skyrim giveaway and only give the link to me! I'd be the happiest man in the entire galaxy, i'd play it for over 500 hours.
The only way to solve handout issues would be to make people actually have to pay the person with the giveaway a set price. I'd pay $5 for a 1 in 15 chance, meanwhile it pays for itself. Get rich quick scheme i'm brilliant.
It's like every giveaway has 1,000 entries now. And I can only enter like two giveaways a day. I used to think a giveaway getting 500 entries was crazy. Honestly I don't even feel like using the site anymore, I feel so discouraged.
