one person could very easily break the points system, ive just figured out how.
alpha protocol for example, is currently 90% and has an onsite valuation of $20, ocmpany of heroes is $25? and another game to get you an extra $5 and you can make an account
Then, do this alot, but make them public:

each time one of those was posted publicly, everyone gets 50 points, everyone bids on everything, chances of winning get even lower.
conceptually its a good website, but i think the only way to win is private groups given its many flaws

because of the private giveaway group feature nobody has incentive to post anything public anymore which means nobody would get points. like all throughout this week i only gained about ~100 points because of the lack of public giveaways, and thanks to the new private group feature, i'm getting less than an average of 40 overnight now.
I went to sleep last night with 10 points and woke up with 70...
I imagine if it turns out that point generation gets a lot slower due to private give aways, they'll start giving points every so often.

also skelly i hope you know the amount of money the game costs doesn't mean you get the same amount of points. right now it's only like 5% of the money that's turned into points.

If every new raffle gave you as many points as it was worth in dollars, then everyone could enter everything and no raffle would be under 2k entries.
and the fact that if people were to start doing that they would get banned from the site and the points will possible be revoked.

it's not the fact that i can't enter everything, it's the fact that because of private group giveaways now, only a few will publish public giveaways which means less points.

There are tons of public giveaways and no shortage of points. As mentioned before, stop complaining about the rate you can get free stuff, it's FREE.

yes, but someone could still bomb the site with a bunch of complete bundles which would give out tons of points to everyone really quickly.
If YOU arent getting enough points to keep buying into draws, then everyone else isnt either, you have access to a private group for improved odds as it is and will still get points from the publics that are made, its a perfectly equal system. I just hope that in the future people are awarded points for creating public giveaways that are succesfully recieved, to encourage people to still make publics.
like i said, the site has a fair few flaws, but you are getting shit for free so stop complaining about it
I gave away red faction guerilla about 3 weeks ago and it got over 300 entries and i didn't get ANY points from it.. :/
Less public giveaways, more private ones, you get less points but are in much smaller prize draws too, so much better chances of winning, meaning you dont need as many points to actually get something. its that simple.
