Some people think the naruto MMO/RPG is a good idea, a Naruto MMO would be ORIGINAL too, due to the fact no one has made one in the past. Maybe you can pick a special family at character creation, and you get a special ability pertaining to your family, like racials in WoW. They wouldn't be too overpowered, like Sharingan would let you dodge an upcoming attack or something.

You could say the first star wars game was original, I'd say Force unleashed was pretty original, one of the first games with so much world manipulation/physics, and on a console.

I want to hate Naruto, I truly do... But it is one of the better animes in existence. It's first episodes are fairly lame, it has a giant clump of filler after the main story ends, all 3 of the main characters are hate worthy, and something along the lines of mages would have been more appropriate than labeling these magical people as ninjas. However through all that, it's world is detailed, it's action isn't just some poorly animated flashes and senseless powerlevel battles, and the characters outside of the main 3 are great.
Wew, anyways, there are RPGs for it, but I assume they're all pretty much just really poor attempts to cash in on the annoying fanbase and not really good games. The universe would make for a good RPG, but don't expect one.

A lot of what makes the Naruto world and fights interesting wouldn't work on an MMO. Example, Shikimaru the tactician. Some of the most interesting things come from his fights, but you can't really emulate that, at least not in an interesting way. Then again, I think most MMOs are crap anyways, so maybe it could be the lesser crap out there. The world may never know.

One of the things that was removed was the location of an evolutionary part affecting it's function, a spike on your rear for example would harm predators attacking from behind, this could be confusing to small children.

You can skip the fillers, and I'd say the 3 main characters become more likeable in shippuuden, after they get through most of the whiny bitchy phase.

I love anime, but Naruto is quite possibly the worst show I've ever seen. It was good for about five episodes, and then it turned to shit.

Neither was I, but I grew up with games, and I'm sure you did, the newer gamers today are more casual and less exposed to games, so wouldn't be able to understand some game mechanics. One of my friends thinks if you play Halo on a super computer it will look as good as life, granted he's a fucking dumbshit but it proves my point.
