Someone wanna share some nice fractal-based bedroom design? I'd prefer if it wouldn't take too much space, and it would have a central hub for stairs. That is nice, but I'd prefer it in a more readable format. [editline]04:02PM[/editline] Engraved on the wall is a finely-designed image of a blood soaked slave goblin by Adil Fikodaral. oh my
I hate hauling rocks. :argh:
I hate hauling rocks. :argh:
Build an above-ground fortress
Build an above-ground fortress
Dwarves don't build above ground, silly.
Build an above-ground fortress
Unless he only uses wood, he's going to still need a ton of stone.
Dwarves don't build above ground, silly.
I actually like to build as much as possible above ground. I start off with meeting places and barracks above ground (underground is temporary) so I don't get CAS.

I usually do temples, market areas, town squares, pave roads and an awesome keep.
Except if CAS is removed :smug:
cheater
cheater
Not really, the reason I remove it is because the pools of vomit look ugly as fuck. If they didn't vomit but just "became irritated" then I'd keep it.
Go for super CAS mode and mod it to make dwarves go berserk
Haha, that'd be interesting. Like the surface is covered in the rage virus or something.
Fuck, my dwarves are being retards. They aren't following any of my mining/digging orders and instead are constantly drinking, eating, and just sitting around.

They all do/are. :|
They all do/are. :|
Remove meeting areas so they don't party. If they're "on break" then simply wait for a while.
Unless he only uses wood, he's going to still need a ton of stone.
Build a Quarry. Also, how did Thorny get banned? Oh, and, I can't possibly be the only one who doesn't wonder what Sunberries and Sunshine tastes like. Apparently, it's the best booze in the game. Also, how do the dwarves manage to not get drunk? Er, my first artifact on a new fortress I just started has a picture of itself on it.
Also, how do the dwarves manage to not get drunk?
Dwarves don't get drunk, they get sober. Well, I suppose sans drink they get drunk.
This is harder for my computer to run than Crysis. The dev team needs to work on that.
This is harder for my computer to run than Crysis. The dev team needs to work on that.
Or maybe you just need to get a better computer? This game runs perfectly fine on my computer. [editline]12:02PM[/editline] And my computer isn't even that great..
My computer so bad that I've got DDR1 ram, and it runs fine for me.

They weren't here in '05, if you remember. This is a stack of 11 Plump Helmet Roast. The ingredients are minced plump helmet, minced plump helmet, minced plump helmet, and minced plump helmet. Regarding Cooking, does that make more food fit into a smaller area? Because I always have an over-abundance of food, and not enough barrels for drink.
My best meal was worth 11,132* and it included dragon meat, cow cheese and strawberry wine :3:
My best meal was worth 11,132* and it included dragon meat, cow cheese and strawberry wine :3:
Nice! I, myself, have never actually encountered any megabeasts, or semi-megabeasts. I'm in a Good area, I'm pretty sure it's Serene, so I'm expecting Unicorns, though. Shit, do head injuries count as spine injuries? My wrestler just got a minor head injury while sparring.
Ok something just gave my hunter a red wound on his right leg and a brown one on his spine. There's rotten dwarf chunks near him too. And I have no idea what did it. Great start to this fort :v:
