Dwarf Fortress - WHAT ARE ALL THESE CATS DOING HERE - Games

I am wondering, should I try and master the 2d version first, and then move on to the 3d version? Because I find the Z levels to be rather confusing and I was mostly trying to figure those out, and didn't take any time to learn anything else. But with those out of the way, it would be a whole lot easier to learn all of the other stuff I think?

Tried to make a skycraper in a bloodline game 1 year ago with some mates I'm not into ASC11 graphics but with a tileset it was playable. However i still was the one who fucked up

Damn. I need to get back on this game. Maybe I'll try it again tomorrow. Hopefully I still have my edited raws with me.

My dining rooms are usually like CT TC CT TC CT TC CT TC With a one-tile gap in the middle, it looks better in my eyes and can also be filled with statues or some shit.

I just fuck about and have fun beating gods wielding my amputated arm.

Just so people know, dwarves have NO sense of self preservation at all apart from hostile enemies or quite deep water = run away. They don't even know that fire is hot.

I got 2 war dogs! How often do migrants come? Are wrestlers meant to rip each others clothes off?

Also yes, wrestlers rip each other's clothes off and that is one of the main reasons I never have wrestlers in my military.

What is the dis-advantage of them doing it? (Note: they have no armor yet)
