You know since valve is giving HL2 DM and LC away for free to people with Nvidia and Ati graphics cards, it can be quite a few who will fall for these things.

Seriously, if you fall for stuff like this, you really shouldn't have access to a way to buy stuff online. (I mean stuff like a creditcard.)

Those are the only real giveaways.
Many people dont look at url.
You can send emails with a little code for example:
<br><a href=http://www.meatspin.com/ target="_blank">http://www.facepunch.com</a><br>
That code displays facepunch in email, but sends you to meatspin.

As I said before, I watched (helplessly) as a guys account was hijacked while I was in chat with him.
Also, keep an eye out for anyone using the names m3c, hack, or ADMIN, as those are the names he's been seen using after the hijack.

I've had 3 and I and reported all of them.
Steam stole their Phishing rods after I reported them

Whats the proper way to report them? I could never find a "report phishing" button, so I just go on their profile and report it for "User Misconduct" and hope VALVe knows what I mean.

That's what I do. If you want to hunt some phishers just go to steam community and search "Steam" or "Valve".
