I honestly can't do anything but voice act for this, I have no other skills. But I can voice act moderately well and I'd be willing to volunteer for some type of audition for specific types of characters.
To the huge amount of people that are only voice actors, try and learn the GECK. Here are some basic tutorials:

The GECK is really easy to use once you fiddle with it a bit. People need to take some initiative to learn this stuff if we ever want to get this mod off the ground.
Also, Martin, you need to make the map on MS Paint or something instead of on a whiteboard where people can fuck around with it.

Martin I don't mean to be rude and it's good that you are trying to organise this but in all honesty people need you to go "this is what we are doing, is there any kind of things to improve" Drawing a map from the ground up out of your head is a bad idea. very bad. I'd say just right down peoples thoughts on this or their ideas. Then come to the next meeting with a concept.

Yeah, he should make his basic idea of the map, then post it here for other people to contribute ideas and change it instead of just winging it.
He's needs to stop and take it all one at a time
A building is nothing without a base
The only thing this project really needs is modelers. Mapping with G.E.C.K becomes easy once you screw with it enough. And creating or altering guns is just as easy.

Anyone should present his layout of the main city, by anyone I mean people who can draw. Not a paint job by a 14 year old.
Someone should list what we will need: hospital, drug dealers... etc. Probably popular subforums should have their own housings and themes.
Creative weaponry such as "the cleansing flamethrower" and the facepunch powerfist inside an arms dealer. Gold members crack lounge and the admin dungeons.
Whatever, be creative and start with the most important stuff first. Why model when the is no place to put the models. Why voice act when there are no shops and NPC?

Anyways, I don't know if I'll do this. At the moment, like Hypnotoad said, it's just being made up as he goes along with no real thought out plan of what he's going to do or what he wants. It needs [i]a lot[/i] more thought out planning or it's doomed to fail.

In the words of Hypnotoad "I'm out". I was willing to do whatever you needed to get done but spending the last hour watching you ramble kinda screwed that up. If you can't even listen to people you won't be able to manage this mod.
Doomed. Utterly Doomed. Far to much ego from someone who has just proven he is far too incompetent to lead.
There could be a point where some good ideas fallout (pun!) of this, but from that little fiasco. I'm out.

Not being picky, but again that's not how you go about managing something like this. It's best if the ideas guy come to a group of people with just that; a full idea. Till then saying things like "I'm just working this up as I go along" will just be digging a hole.
Like we aren't going to say "ok see you in 4 days" *holds breath*.
