But it only takes damage really if you turn of the radiation safety [editline]05:18PM[/editline] It would be awesome if this game had geomod and like drills and such to drill through planets and stars

Any way to run this on windows vista 64 bit? I tried changing compatibility, but that doesn't work.
drill through stars? are you nuts?
Well considering the ship you're in can get amazingly close to a pulsar why not [editline]05:41PM[/editline] And to try running it on 64 bit try running DW noctis [editline]05:43PM[/editline] It would be cool if you could drill through planets and such although noctis wouldn't be the game for that

Downlaod the latest one from the website
I love this game so much. Still waiting for V to come out.
I love this game so much. Still waiting for V to come out.
The best part is that every star you see you can explore it's planets.
Same

This game gets bland after a short time. You fly around, land, go back up, fly around some more. Nothing to do except set a goal to find life, then you find it and you have nothing better to do. Other than that, if they give you more things to do in Noctis V, it is a must play on my list.
Woo, finally got it to work, not completely fullscreen mind you, but it's fine for now. I really wish some developer would make a full game like this, a game of discovery with FPS controls and cool spaceship controls too. And I like being able to actually walk around on my spaceship, even if it is a bit dull. Imagine mass effect, FPS, no shooting or battles, your ship is empty except for you. You can analyze nearby planets, land on them, and explore them for life, plant and animal, and document them and stuff. Would need to be almost all procedurally generated, which would be the real bitch. Coming up with ways to generate proper planets and life procedurally. They could add other stuff to spice up gameplay. Some kind of simple weapon to defend yourself with, maybe discovering things to beef up your spaceship with, survival aspects like amount of air, damage to spacecraft from rough landings, asteroid fields. Finding certain advanced civilizations? They could be made rare, so that when you find one it's not just "Oh look another advanced race wanting me to do stupid quests" but more of a "Oh look, new race. I will land on their planet and look around" and they could be friendly or hostile. There could be special planets too with ruins and stuff like that. Wow I could go all night.
I'll just leave these right here

Those are beautiful... Anyway I just smoked the bong some and this game is fucking awesome while high.
The first one's a gas giant with a ring, the second one is a really really big red sun, the third of a huge mountain that just juts out of a giant, incredibly flat plain. It's blocking the sunrise in that pic.
You know when you've played this to long, when you try to scroll down the page with the right mouse button.
I never got the controls right in this game. I'll try again some time.

So what is the current status of Noctis V? And I wonder if you can play this with a controller? Edit: Controllers actually work pretty well. I'm using this: With the binds (Using JoyToKey) as follows: Left analog stick - Mouse movement (amount is 10) 1 - Left click 2 - Right click 3 - J 4 - Space 5 (Upper left shoulder button) - V 10 (Start) - Esc
-snip automerge is broke agein :frown:-
Subscribed! Noctis has a hard learning curve, especially since it seems all the controls seem to be on a screen in the game.
