also if any of you guys have ATI cards and have catalyst AI disabled, enable it. was slightly jerky occasionally before, then i put it on advanced mode and it's running like shit off of a teflon towel now

Any news on a PC patch that'll fix the problems with performance and stuttering?

The 'flashback' effects are really fucking annoying in the singleplayer. I don't need strobe flashing and high pitched noises to signify i'm traveling through time

So I seem to have run into some sort of complication... Last night, everything was fine. Today I load up to play and suddenly the game refuses to send sound to my headset. Sound from the game only comes out of the speakers. It's funny because other sounds (such as the received message sound on Steam) come through the headset fine. It's only Black Ops too. Other games work just fine. I've tried restarting the computer, turning off the speakers, and completely unplugging them. None worked. Any ideas?
