I haven't had any problems with this game. It's all right. I just don't think it's worth $60 and all the hype.

Only with the help of 'hotfixes' and shit a person shouldn't have to do can get it to a playable state, even then it's terrible.

It's either annoying spawning, shitty admins, sometimes stutters, and just overall annoyances that keep making me want to put my fist through my screen.

The community has been a problem since the first MW.

You know, i feel a slight need to post this. Now see, i think this game is fantastic, it has bugs, not going to deny it, im one of the few people that can play this game without any real deal-breaking issues. Now see, i've seen quite a few Youtube comments, already "if you don't like it go play that noob black ops shit" etc etc. And it's got me wondering, Is Black Ops just suffering from a MW2 Bandwagon rollover? Don't get me wrong the game to play feels completely different from its predecessor, skin deep i can see why people could (and do) just assume its the same thing with a different name. Or is it that Black Ops is suffering from hate for Treyarch from people disappointed in their titles in the past? By all rights i loved CoD4, i played that to death, but i loved World at War as well, it was completely different to play, but familiar at the same time. Also to add, Black Ops is the first CoD single-player game where I've been gripped enough to play through in one sitting, im actually about to start it again, i did genuinely enjoy it. I know Black Ops at the moment has its flaws, The Dev team is working their assess off to fix the issues, But I've found the maps to be fantastically well thought out, the weapons to be much more balanced (it's as if they've learnt from MW2 directly, trying their best to stray away from making it into an arms race.) So with all this said, given that its [i] sold [/i] better than MW2 why is it having such a hard reception from people? Are they just disappointed due to the issues that are at hand? is it a bandwagon effect? Or is it just Haters gunna hate? Sorry for the wall of text, i'm thoroughly enjoying it and its re-invigorated my love for the franchise, as well as competitive play.

I eliminated alot of the stuttering when I shut off multigpu and enabled multithreading, and disabled glow too. My main problem now is the game constantly freezes up, crashing steam in the process. Happens in all multiplayer and if im lucky it goes away after playing the singleplayer for a bit (I have to play nazi zombies first, then switch to campaign)

But for me, it still feels like a modern warfare 2 mod. i'm loving the new pistols but that's about it. Everything else kinda feels recycled. Then again I haven't been able to play multiplayer without a freeze, so I'll see.
