*skips new posts* anyone notice that it seems that some railings just completely block bullets? ive had motherfuckers be on balconies and ive shot 3 round bursts RIGHT at their center mass, getting no hit marker, but i see my bullets hitting the railings. :argh:

There are rumors of a larger patch coming in later today, hence why the servers are down. I don't know what it is, I think someone has talked to JD_2020 on Twitter. I'm just giving us some hope.

Hey guys I'm having an issue with the game. My dad wanted to play this so I installed it on his computer with my account so he could play in offline mode. However he gets no sound when he tries to play single player. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Completed the game on Hardened in roughly 5 hours. [sp]Reznov not being real really surprised me, it makes sense really, none of the other characters communicate with him. Can't believe I didn't notice.[/sp]

My favorite AR has definitely got to be the Galil.

There are a few fixes I've tried, that have worked for others though: - Re-install the Direct X redistribution that came with the game. (Location in above post) - If on Windows 7, launch the game and then alt tab. Check your sound levels and make sure that black ops isn't low/muted. - Again, if on Windows 7, right click the speaker next to the clock. Select playback devices. Right click the playback device that you use. Select the advanced tab, and set the default format to 16 bit, 48000 Hz.

The whole story was a fucking mess too, Makarov somehow found the only major airport in Russia with no surveillance equipment? Not to mention that one of the Russians you were in the attack with also died during the police raid.[/sp]

Lot's of fighting and cutscenes later the story ends. Nothing to do with ranking up.[/sp]

The story sucks ass, it's full of plot holes like the Russian dude dieing at the airport and the lack of a real motive for Russia to do something risky like invading the US. [/sp] Also I didn't grasp MW2's storyline the first time. Black ops however is pretty easy to understand and generally much better storyline wise [sp] mainly due to the negro CIA guy at the end explaining everything [/sp] However I didn't get why Dragovich [sp] wanted to gass the US withoud direct support of the Soviets [/sp]

i dislike this game the more i play it i mean when i play it for extended periods of time, not overall
