PS3 owners commenting on Portal 2 - Games

Wait, why would PS3 fanboys be on this forum in the first place? This is the Facepunch Forum, Garrysmod's official Forum. Garrysmod is a [B]PC[/B] exclusive. If these PS3 fanboys own Garrysmod, then their computer should be enough to play most of today's multiplatform games, not to mention Portal 2... If they don't own Garrysmod, why the hell are they here? Its really quite simple.

That was EA's fault.[/QUOTE] I own the PS3 version of the orange box, and to be honest the OB on the ps3 is actually quite nice. I have never gotten any problems, besides when it's autosaving. (Does the 360 version have that?) EA did a decent job in my opinion. Converting a shader-based engine from DirectX to OpenGL is no small feat... Anyone who says otherwise has a fanboy stick up their ass. The only downside would be TF2, as a bunch of the old (and fun) bugs are still present. (Teleporters behind the fences in 2fort, etc.)

(Just an example, no clue where it actually is) These forums talk about a helluva lot more than just Garry's Mod.

I couldn't stop laughing when they said that the PS3 is a "real gaming machine." A good gaming computer can easily be better than a PS3 spec-wise.

I mainly buy all my games for the pc, unless they are console exclusives such as MGS4 or Halo

I've come to realize that I do almost all my single-player gaming on my PS3 and my multiplayer gaming on my PC. Dedicated servers FTW, plus it's just easier all around.

PC is good for some games, Consoles are good for others. Personally, I can't drive for shit on the PC. I'm always crashing into things. I'm good at cart Racing games on consoles, however. In short, both have their weaknesses, stop complaining about Consoles when PCs are just as annoying in some aspects. You both have annoying fanboys on your sides.

I shoot em up on the PC, and crash them up on the consoles. (crash cars I mean, not the server!) Really, on either console, your better off with the PC, especially with source games, otherwise no Gmod. Why bother. However, in comparison to both the 360, you can not beat the concept of Playstation Home. Its just that you can walk your avatar out the door from EA's universe with the EA shirt still on, and walk right into Capcom, Activision or Ubisoft's. You also have your own apartment, can walk into Namco arcades, go bowling with other players, go into the movie theaters, go to bars and clubs, and actually dance. I like how in PSH you can make your player use whatever gesture at another player. Like if you want to give a threatening remark, you can do that, if you want to do something crude, you can do that. If you want to dance around like a fool, you can do that. You can play whatever you want, look however you want, act however you want, go where ever you want; while not going back to some stupid main menu, and have to reconnect to some other server or having to go to a black screen, and load all that time to get some where else. This is why I do not get the aggravation. One thing is meant to do one thing, while another is meant to do something completely different that the first one simply can't, because it can't do the thing the first one can. Thing is, MS had the capability to use their graphics to full potential to make custom sculpted human avatars like Fallout in addition to real clothes, but instead they not use Wii styled avatars.

How to troll every ps3 valve hater.: If you think it sucks, why do you even care?

I got a PS3, I love the PS3. I mostly plays on my PC though, a console is, by me, used only for playing split-screen with friends. I like the PS3 more than the Xbox 360 though. Mainly because it's told that the 360 costs less, but when you got to pay money to be able to play online, it's not good. Valve is a great company (the best), sure it would be better if they would develop games for the PS3 too, but I don't care, I got a PC...

I am so white, I own all 7th gen consoles, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 elite, and a wii. I haven't set up my Playstation account thingy yet, though. Also I own a PC, a fucking epic one at that. 7 Gigs of RAM BIOTCHES! That is why PC will always triumph over consoles. No lag.
