PCs can only be so powerful :downs: It's not like you can magically get insane performance from any component added, much like consoles, new hardware has to be developed, this hardware then sets the "power" cap. There is no infinite power output from PCs like you seem to think there is.
I don't know why we are talking about consoles now. You can't play Gmod on either one. Hell, for that matter, there is so much you can not do on a console, anyway in terms of general modding. Who even knows about when they launch games on Apple. Those are so expensive, and I probably couldn't do Gmod, HL2 DM on a Mac, simply because the capacity to store stuff for custom servers probably would not be there. I mean I took GB's of space for Source Modded Games. I mean I have played L4D2 on the 360 and kept getting owned. So did the other player, the controls just did not handle the same. Also, the PS3 is capable of running Windows, anyway. At least MS will not charge you for repairs, Sony does not really repair, they just replace with reused material! Another reason why fanboys are angry, was Portal 1 was on the PS3.
Still, I can not get over what that one guy on the PS3 said about the HL2 series, as well as TF2. Can you believe that? Any chance of Valve allowing EA to PortStation now, is probably not going to happen, as HL is Valve's flesh and blood, not with that attitude against Half-Life.
This sucks... I don't understand why they cannot bring it to the PS3 as well. It's just stupid, they would make more money, they sold around 1 million copy's of The Orange Box on the PS3 till this day and I'm sure it hooked some people on to Portal enough for them to buy Portal 2.

I think it's been said before, but PS3 fanboys are boasting to everyone because they get exclusive games, and then get all butthurt when every other console gets a game that they can't.

me, i have a ps3, a psp, had a ps2 (yeah, i like sony, but the ONLY reason i didnt get xbox 360 was the whole red ring of death thing....yes and MGS4) and a pc....and a nintendo 64
but anyway, how hard is it to just get a pc, and play the game? really?

Fanboy logic never ceases to amaze me. Bragging endlessly about their exclusives, but when they don't get a certain game, it's like the end of the world!
I also wondered why sony fanboys went so batshit when it was announced that FF13 was going multiplatform. If it's such a great game, shouldn't others also be given the chance to experience it?

It's fanboys like the ones in the OP link that make the rest of us look bad. I'm a PS3 gamer, and yes, Valve has pissed me off. Unfortunately, it's their game and their choice.
I would love to see Portal 2 on the PS3. Hel, I'd buy it twice just because I want to have it on both systems (And for Gmod). I don't think Valve's interested, though, which is sad.
I have to say, I do more PC gaming nowadays than I do console gaming. PC gaming is quick and easy to pick up. Console gaming is more of a commitment and time-consuming. It's like comparing a TV show to a movie. Both are good, but entertain in different ways.

The whole PC vs. Console argument comes down to opinion. Console vs. console is one thing, PC vs. Console is a little different.
Personally, I'm both. I'm a PC gamer and a PS3 gamer, though I admit to spending more time with a mouse and keyboard because [i]Team Fortress 2 is so damn addicting! AGH![/i] :argh:

Thats a pretty good mix, I am aswell. The Wii is portrayed as a crappy system mainly because it has all these third party developers thinking they can make crap and it will be good because its "the wii". But the Wii has some pretty good games. The experience you get on it is different than any other system. And PC trumps PS3 and xbox360, so having a Wii is nice. I especially like the sword fighting in wii sports resort.
When I said PC trumps PS3 and Xbox360 I didn't mean entirely literally, it is quite better though.
Who would have thought people would be this mad that their Blu-Ray player won't be able to play Portal 2?
It's people like this that make me ashamed to own a PS3. Yes it's annoying not being able to play the game, but seriously, bitching about it over the internet won't help. It just makes people hate you -_-
