YES, there is a Facepunch corp.
It's called Facepunch Caldari League and all kind of newbies can join to better learn the game.
They currently are based at Nourvukaiken VII - Moon 14 - Caldari Nevy Assembly Plant
Check the Headquaters tab.
ALL Facepunchers and noobs are welcome.

Caldari is the most populated and most popular choice of a noob.
Even if you are gallente you may still join as long as you read the requirements in our thread (right next to this one)

18 jumps is nothing, i had to jump 40 jumps once when half of them was in lowsec and zeros.
I am loving this game. I get all excited when I have enough money for a new ship, but then I realize I am missing a skill that takes 10 hours, haha.
