So, we just hotdropped a Minmatar Factional Warfare corp with 90 dreads, and killed a revelation and a tower.
Amarr Victor...or whatever the ammarian roleplayers say.
Yea, but all my ships would be 18 jumps away.
I usually have a single ship, at the point when i really NEED several ships i usually get myself a hauler.

I'll consider cycling's T3 release day as the day when Lance fucking retires.

Wait, so can the Iteron carry other ships?
Fear my new tech III mudkip avatar
Wait, so can the Iteron carry other ships?
If you pack the ships up, you just drag them in as cargo...
But you lose any insurance you have on them, so you might consider just flying them if you're low on cash.
It has enough cargo room for ships WHEN PACKAGED, but it cant carry lets say, a titan. Also train up for a itty 4 or 5 they are really worth it.
So, whatre you guys doing in EVE ?
I'll only be able to carry one ship over at a time, if the facepunch corp actually gets somewhere I'll consider moving my ships.
Anyway, whats the purpose of planets?
I just finished the 10 military missions at the start, going to the new FP Corp HQ right now, I hit over 1 mill, and I plan on buying some cargo for my Merlin so i can do trades.
Ugh, this game is totally based around mining, and mining is the most boring thing you can do.
Mining is the only resource in the game, and boy do people like mining. 80 percent of the corporations are devoted to it. The only reason people go to war is because there's a few systems are worth more in mining than others.
I figure it's the games grind-factor. You level up by just adding skills to your que, but to afford new skills and equipment you need money. What's the best way to get money in EVE Online? You guessed it!
I might just start trying to scam people out of their money. At least that way I could learn an actual skill I could use in real life. And I'm sure it would be a lot more fun than mining.

To make the game less of a void?
I just want to know something about corps, if your a different race then the corp can you still join? And what if you aren't close to the location of the corp?
1. If the CEO has the Ethnic Relations skill, yes.
2. Well you have to be at the corp's HQ or one of its offices to put in an application so it's kind of important..
Its not cheating.
Pick your nits off someone else please. I don't know what the word is to describe the faux humour I was using..it's not cheating because it's not possible, smartass.
Edit:
What's the purpose of planets?
Well that could be applied to rl aswell =P to put things in orbit around, basically. CCP are working on a feature called ambulation, which allows you to walk in the interior of stations, and possibly go planetside so that could be another use.
Wait, so can the Iteron carry other ships?
As others have said, yes. If you look at the info page of a ship, under the attributes tab there is usually a second volume value in brackets telling you how big it is when packaged. If your ship has a cargohold equal to or larger than that..you can move the ship just like an item.

Don't play it then.

Oh you know. The birthplace of life. It's sort of a necessary accessory. Kind of like how everything ever, since pac-man or fucking whatever has some context to legitimize gameplay.
From a mechanics standpoint they are points of easy access and interest on a map, of which there have to be some in a system.
Hey, do we have a corp set up? Me and my lone Blackbird are getting lonely blowing shit up.

If you're really desperate =P otherwise just check local advertisements.
Christ, how many people already pop in the thread every day to say:
"hai guys i just bought the trial and i am flying a destroyer right now. i have killed a serpentis."
And never show up again.
About 3?
About 3?
Sure that sounds right.
Hey Winged, here's a quote from a devblog about overheating:
"Following up on Heat, we're adding more strategic options. Taking a module offline will make it a heat dispersion module, giving you long-term overload at a more serious cost. Tech Levels are also getting different heat sustenance levels, some can take the heat better, such as the run of the mill Tech 1 modules that don't suffer from the delicate construction of specialized modules. Heat attenuation is being added, so heat damage spreads "sideways" from the overloaded module, not randomly in the rack. You can thereby create buffers by slapping your favorite named/faction module between two Tech 1s if you like. The heat is on, as the classic song said."
If you have your guns set up something like: gun-gun-offline mod-gun-gun, the guns should take less heat damage.

I have never used a mining laser in all the time I have played EVE.
Red Faction: Facepunch
we should make a new corp. that destroys shit and steals stuff
What are the pro's and cons of joining the militia? I feel like joining them since I did my military missions.

Militia is just for fun pvp. It is a massive isk drain.
The next update is gonna bring a system where you get Loyalty points for kills and system takeovers for your militia.
