Salvagers do =) I love my catalyst Compensating for something? :D
I prefer my Golem for salvaging, that or my orca, can't beat a 70km tractor range.
Yeah um I guess if you had a golem you wouldn't bother with destroyers, no.. ¬.¬
Just got my Hurricane, fitted it out pretty nice I think.
My new agent's pretty cool, his pay isn't the greatest but I haven't done many missions so i expect a million or two every mission after a few more.
Can different faction people be in same corp? Trade etc.? Like minmatar and amarr.
Can different faction people be in same corp? Trade etc.? Like minmatar and amarr.
Yes like i am a Caldari but i fight for the Gallente. Race lines really don't matter in Eve.
EEK! There is a retriever that is mining near me and I have like 10 cans of ore next to me! He better not steal them! :tinfoil: [editline]08:11PM[/editline] What should I save up and buy? I have the trial so industrial and a few other are out of the question.
Can different faction people be in same corp? Trade etc.? Like minmatar and amarr.
Yea, if the CEO has the Ethnic Relations skill
EEK! There is a retriever that is mining near me and I have like 10 cans of ore next to me! He better not steal them!
if he does, blow him up. Retrievers can't shoot back generally, and if he takes from your can, you have full rights to blow him up.

He left though, I am going back and forth with my ore to sell now.
This game really reminds me of MechWarrior. I think that's why it's so awesome.
FUUUUUUU- I lost all of my ore, I had about a million isk worth of ore in space and some assholes took it after I took like 3 cans, I went back after the third and bam my cans were gone, and some retriever was there and when i saw it, it just warped away.

End of a large corp espionage plan. End result is about 3+ billion in assets and a lot of crying ISK buyers. Love it.

You should try it sometime.
Man, I have way more than enough money for the ship I want, but stupid skills take 2 days to learn...
I plan on getting an Osprey sometime.
I plan on getting an Osprey sometime.
Really? How did you come to that conclusion?
Really? How did you come to that conclusion?
Oh it just popped in to my head!
I think I am going to skip the Osprey and go right to the Caracal. [editline]10:00PM[/editline] Ugahhhh, 23 jumps...
So is there a chance that I could make a living on my own by stealing/mining things in large corporation's high sec space?
Yeah. Would not be very hard, I wouldn't think.
So is there a chance that I could make a living on my own by stealing/mining things in large corporation's high sec space?
Ask lankest
Waiting a few days to train to fit my dominix. Haven't gotten it yet but my corp is paying for all of my expenses :D. Any good words for the dominix, do you guys like the ship?
So is there a chance that I could make a living on my own by stealing/mining things in large corporation's high sec space?
That depends on your expenses. If you're like me and only fly small Rifters with the exception of one or two big ships from time to time, you can survive on one successful con per year. I maintain about 300 million ISK in the wallet at any given time. It isn't much but it's much more than I need. Any surplus goes toward adding to my collection of spare frigates. Better yet, I don't make that much of a splash when I con somebody or show up in quiet little system in Low-Sec, so there aren't too many people who both want my head on a platter and have the means to make that so. If you want to fly extravagant ships you'd need to either be an extremely patient corporate thief with a lot of support or someone doing something more legitimate. That, or you can just con whatever corp you're already in. That's how I got my start. A stupid fucking corp full of drama and bullshit and I just happened to have wallet access and good enough justification to take everything and run. [editline]01:46AM[/editline] Also if you're good at can-flipping you can maintain a pretty good wallet size as well, just be aware that your sec-status will take a hit, unlike cons in which you can do as many as you'd like and Concord won't give a fuck.
Sounds like you lead a interesting career there Lankist, can you fly those extravagant ships? Since you only fly frigates you must have tons of spare money when you want to get those nice skill books.

I make a point not to steal from people who know I steal from people. That's also why instead of scamming Facepunchers I have a pretty fun time pointing out the shitty Wormhole and trade scams people try to pull here. That and Facepunch isn't a particularly profitable target anyway. If I were going to piss off a large community it'd be something like EVE University, not Facepunch. Because conning EVE University would just be downright hilarious.

He put up a thread in C&P claiming he got kicked from EVE Uni for no reason. Some directors of EVE Uni called him out and made him look like a total fool. It made me respect EVE Uni a bit more and they'd probably be the one corp other than my current one that I wouldn't con. *EDIT* Here's the thread for anyone who wants a laugh: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1111221
Only 20mil?
That and Facepunch isn't a particularly profitable target anyway.
Orlly?
If I were going to piss off a large community it'd be something like EVE University, not Facepunch.
You don't lose sec status from can flipping.
My bad. I've never been a particularly good hands-on criminal. Also 20mil is chump change. If you're going to rob a corp you gotta' look at a bigger sum than that in the seven eight digits. Something in ten digits would be more preferable. Anything below the hundreds of millions is a waste. [editline]02:24AM[/editline]
Do it.
Nah, I've got a couple other cons running and I also hold a deep respect for EVE Uni and the things they do. wink
