So, why not just get a Mining Barge? They have mining bonuses, some cost about as much as a Osprey.

Yes it's an awesome ship and can either put out alot of damage or tank like a beast. No real middle ground for it though.
That HAM was only there as a temporary thing because I don't have enough money to afford another launcher. I spent all of my money on the things Wingedwizard told me to get, but now some of you (haloguy234) are saying I shouldn't have shield hardeners. So I am really confused on what I should do to my ship armament.
Actually, I think I got something alright to work.

You can still have shield hardeners, just fit rat specific hardeners. You'll be able to tank much higher DPS than with some invul fields.

Hes not old enough to worry about that Halo, stop confusing him.
Mate, leave the invulnerability fields. They provide a decent resistance to everything when active. "Rat Specific Hardeners" Only provide specific resistances to specific things, and you have to check/refit them before each mission to a table of mission rat types, rat type damages, and your resistance types on different hardeners. Its a bitch. Stick with the in vulnerabilities for now.
I still use invuln fields often because i'm a dumbass :shivdurf:
I always use T2 invulnerabilities. I use two invulns and one rat specific hardener when I shield tank usually.
