Just use rat specific, Invulns use more cap and you get better resists with rat specific. My raven gets 88%/90% resists to Kinetic/Explosive

£13 isn't a lot of money. Considering that's about a third of what a normal game would cost, you could pretend it's a normal game and buy yourself 3 months and then after that ask yourself if it's worth paying the subscription. Or you could get the trial.

I was just thinking that, most people only play £35 games for about 2 weeks or so and this is a game that will last me a hell of a long time.

Get the name of the rats you're about to fight.

Fit the hardeners that it says to resist (the top two)
Shoot the damage type that it says to shoot (if you can)

A lot of people do this for pvp. Many of the Caldari ships aren't meant to go toe-to-toe with enemy ships. Even one of the corps I was trying to join said I was a liability because I could only fly in Caldari ships. So, in some cases, you might need to go down a different path for your ships.

it's called cross training, and it's probably one of the best things you can do once you get established in the game.
For example, I'm cross training to Gallente, mostly cause the moros is one beast of a dreadnaught, and I want to fly an Ishtar.
