He was probably a trial character from 4 years ago that just recently subscribed.

Probably a mining or scamming alt.

Or that.
He had a decent ship.
Also damn queue, cant play :(.
I just subscribed! Woo. The reason for this is I could not use the Battlecruiser till I did so.
Only 2 days left until drone interfacing 5. Hope the 20% damage bonus was worth the 26 day wait...

fighters
It was either that or cruiser 5 which I don't really need right now because I don't fly cruisers in pvp.

I'm thinking of getting into EVE. So far I've been reading up on the various stuff on the EVE Wiki.
I have some questions, though:
1) How much ISK do you start out with after making a character?
2) Can you have multiple ships?
3) What kind of ship should a noob like me start out with?

1. I think it's 10,000? I can't remember.
2. Yeah you can have as many as you want.
3. Depends what you want to do. Each race has specialised frigates with things like relatively large cargo bays for hauling, mining bonuses, Electronic warfare or weapon bonuses etc.
The first type of ship you will want is a frigate. What exact frigate will depend on what you want to do in the game and what race you are.
Oh and word of advice: Try not to get stuck in high security space killing rats or mining veldspar in a frigate. This is what you'll probably doing for the first few days, but so many people do this and think that's all there is to the game. It tends to get very boring very fast and they quit before even getting started. Eve requires patience and has a steep learning curve that never actually ends. If you start to get bored, apply for a corporation. If the corporation is boring, move on to another.
I have a couple of more questions:
4) What would be better for someone who's starting out: becoming a hauler or a miner?
5) How easy is it to make ISK for the noob hauler or miner?
6) After how many weeks of gameplay do you think it's safe to start dealing more with combat and the such?
7) Do you spawn in the hub system of your race once you make your character or somewhere different?
Personally, I think mining would be a better start. Hauling requires strong knowledge of the market and being able to manipulate it. Or a huge cargo bay to do contract jobs. Mining is pretty easy, and can make a fairly decent amount of money. If you really wanted, you could jump straight into combat, but make sure you do the tutorials. they will tell you how to not get your ass handed to you. Where you spawn is not necessarily your hub area, but a starting kind of area. You can find most things you'll need at your level in these areas, at very reasonable prices.

Can anyone recommend me any 3rd party eve account management programs?

4) Probably neither, they're both boring and you'll get bored quickly.
5) Hauler: hard, miner: fairly straight forward
6) 0 weeks
7) You spawn in the starting system of the "noob corp" you get. It doesn't really matter, as you can very easily move around secure space.
Well my ship just got blown to fuck land, I was at the place we you start at trying to bait some noobs to kill next thing I know I got a hit he turns red i shott at him he runs off I find him a feild next thing i know im looking at a vexor and five hammer heads 2's 'the guy was a care bear' by the time I relised this we where shooting each other i run out of power and get blown up. good news is the payout I got for the ship blowing up was about 12 mill so what ever the ship was only worth half that. last time i bait for a while ....... or is it.
has this ever happend to any one esle?
