You can get into and fly a Battleship well before you're ready to fly it or know how to use it right and even if you know how to use it you still don't have the support skills needed.
Just for shits and giggles, I am now going to start working on an EVE ship in a CAD program. May end up being fucking epic when I get a 3d printer.
You can export the EVE models.

Been working on this with $SlimSwitch$ for a couple of weeks using those EVE models I ported and some help from Big Dumb American with voice acting.

Yeah of course, there are some people who just train the prerequisites and jump in...But I wouldn't say only a small portion know how to fly it.

What faction are you? And also, what do you do? Once the server goes back up I was going to stray down into lowsec/0.0 space in my Coercer and see if i can do some ratting, perhaps PVP if I see a frigate.

I am gallente and currently doing some random missions on stations, getting me 200,000-300,000 credits a misssion, not much.
Haven't strayed into 0.0 yet, think i will probably die as soon as i enter. I currently fly a Reaper with 4 150mm rail cannons loaded with plutonium rounds. Have thermatic plating and some armor healing things. as well as destructive armor plating.

Well, if you're gallente then I guess I can help you out ;) Want to meet up and do some fleet combat? I'm flying a Coercer with 7 Gatling Pulser Laser I's and a tractor beam in high slots, an afterburner in med slot, Armor Repair and an EM resist in my low slot. I'm considering purchasing some Thermal resist stuff but I couldn't find it in the marketplace before downtime.
