I know that's the original generation and all, but come on! Have a (good) Jhoto or Hoeen pokemon, in there.

there are no good Johto pokemon (except Feraligatr) but there's a lot from Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova that would be great to use

To be completely honest, I'm hoping that Zoroark isn't in SSB4. Not because I don't like him, but because I want to see Pika, Jiggs, Mewtwo, Lucario and Red all kept in, and 5+2 Pokemon representatives might be pushing it.
If anything, I want to see more new series represented. For me, Olimar was the most pleasant surprise from the dojo. Just from Nintendo we don't have any character representation from Animal Crossing (Nook with an axe :v:), Custom Robo (any of the Rays), Golden Sun (Issac), The Legendary Starfy (Starfy), Nintendo Wars (Andy), Punch-Out (Little Mac), so on and so forth. If any new characters are added from existing franchises, I'm willing to bet they'll be either recent characters (Bandanna Dee for Kirby) or villains (K. Rool, Bowser Jr, something from Metroid, Black Shadow, a Fire Emblem villain, etc).

Bowser Jr. and one Pokemon. Those are the ones I want. Of course with Snake kept in AND someone else from MGS added. Such as young Ocelot.
