Alternatively, cut the stupid fucking movie characters. Just because Pokemon: The Movie twenty-three has some dumb fixation on a pokemon doesn't mean they should be in Smash Bros.
I miss Mewtwo... and Fourside.
I would love to explore a city as big as Fourside appears in Melee in a game. Closest I've seen is New York in Spiderman 2 and that was totally exterior with very few interiors.

I know. But the background to the Melee stage makes it look like a huge metropolis and that's what I would like to explore.

Mewtwo is Lucario, the moves are pretty much identical.

That and they're completely different chacters. It's like saying (hypotheticaly) you shouldn't complain if Ganondorf was cut because Captain Falcon is still in or vice versa.
I like the idea of having more Pokemon Trainers instead of adding individual Pokemon as new characters. Really fits well with the idea of the games.

They made specific note on Smash Bros. dojo that they wanted him not to use guns because that would teach kiddies that guns are cool. The reason I said "strange" was because the immediate solution was grenade launchers and landmines.

the characters don't matter as long as they play differently. like in mvc3 where you had x-23 and wolverine, even though they're fairly similar in terms of the actual character ("girlverine") they play completely differently.
This one time i was doing some 2v2s in house with my friends, me and my good buddy just ripped up everyone as zelda and bowser, we tanking and keeping him safe whilst he sniped with din's fire.
